Whoever has heard the name SOUTHERN CLASSIC CHICKEN has been there. And the only reason you haven’t been there is because you don’t know that they have the BEST CHICKEN I’VE EATEN in a long time. I make sure if I miss the one in Shreveport that I catch the one in Alexandria because there is no way that I’m coming to or leaving Louisiana without a piece of that CHICKEN.

Southern Classic chicken spot is a must. Great place to grab and go while traveling. The food is hot and fresh. As far as the sides – everything is good. We ordered the 12 piece (5/5) with fries(4/5), mashed potatoes (3/5) and dirty rice (4/5). The grits though? Well, I’m more of a savory grit kinda guy. But I’ll be generous since I did “sample” half the container lol (2/5)

I was 2nd in drive thru, then i blink and 6 cars behind me. Told me this was gonna be good. And to think had Johnny’s took my order promptly, i never would be here. I spent 70¢ on an extra ranch and i ate 3/5 strips plain. The seasoning on the chicken is great!

This place was great. The Drive-thru was ridiculously fast considering the quality of the chicken. The Chicken, and fries were seasoned perfectly. The coleslaw was very good and the biscuits were good. All in all I give it .
