I got the jalapeño cream cheese bacon burger with okra it was VERY GOOD. The biscuit and homemade apple butter was warm and very good also. I got the collard green cheese dip for an appetizer, and the dip itself was OK. The pita chips that come with it however were fantastic. The service was perfect. I’ll be back when I’m in town again. Only knock is the atmosphere. It’s just plain Jane. But the food way over shadows the atmosphere.

Our waitress Sandra was amazing. She was so friendly and attentive and made some great food recommendations. The fried green tomatoes and mozzarella bites were exceptional…that marinara was delicious! My husband and I shared a catfish and fried chicken plate and it was the best meal we had our entire week in Blue Ridge. The collard greens were my favorite!! I can’t wait to visit again.

Very busy; seated very quickly. Mason was our server and he was amazing. You get biscuits and apple butter to the table so good. Had collard dip with deep fried pita chips; a mist have. I had the jumbo shrimp (yes it’s local) green tomato po boy. Very charming little place with a big taste.

This is an excellent place to sit down and have some good country cookin’. That said, the wait could be long and was, in fact, about 40 minutes plus. The food, however was very good and the location is near the Blue Ridge Railway. The decor won’t knock your socks off but this is a pretty good place to bring your family or a group for a sit down lunch or dinner. The pay parking lot is feet way, so if you’re paying to park for the day anyway (which was $20 when I went) then you are all set.

Truly the best fried chicken I’ve ever had in my whole life! The chicken was cooked so well and the breading is to die for. We loved that it was not salty but had amazing flavor. The chicken was juicy and all around yummy! Also very lovely atmosphere and everyone was very nice!

Visited on a Saturday night around 7 PM—waited about 20–30 minutes, and it was absolutely worth it. Once seated, we were greeted by a super friendly waitress who made the experience even better as the meal went on.

Our lunch was so delicious that we went returned the following day for dinner!! Portions are exceptional!! We enjoyed the absolute best fried green tomatoes we have ever had anywhere!!! The accompanying sauce was out of this world tasty. Service was 5 star across the board!! Our meals included the Chicken Bowl with plenty to fill you up boneless and breaded fried chicken breast, 2 fabulous and tasty large slices of meatloaf, biscuits to write home about including the thick warm apple butter side!! We could have spread that apple butter on everything! The real mashed potaoes… oh my goodness, so gooOoOOd. And the veggies were cooked to perfection, especially the collard greens with no sugar added to them! Just the way granny made them. We highly recommend Southern Charm!! Our Hostess was so warmly funny and as delightful as can be. Wish we lived in Blue Ridge Ga! A perfect restaurant for a filling and delicious meal.

There is a constant crowd and line in front of this place. We inquired of another patron what the hype was. We decided to check it out. The food was fabulous. The service was great and the atmosphere was fun. The country fried steak was definitely on point! I had the meatloaf and it was OK. Wasn’t my style.

This reminded me of a big open home inside. We went for dinner and didn’t have to wait, but maybe 10 mins and our waitress was awesome. They serve you biscuits with apple butter that’s warm and really good! We ordered fried chicken, which was so good, with mashed potatoes and cheese grits that were extra creamy and cheesy, so so good! We also got hamburger steak and a big hamburger with fries. Nice clean bathrooms. Would recommend.
