Our server Nick was great. I was a bit dissatisfied with empanadas it was little greasy. Jerk chicken good, oxtail great. Our goat nachos pieces was big chunks, maybe if you cut it smaller and Seasoning it a bit more. Overal 7 out of 10. If those changes are made i will come back.

My family and I just absolutely love the atmosphere. The food is amazing ,hot , fresh ,and really speaks to your soul. Our server Shannon was very friendly, helpful, and kind. What a fantastic place to take your family too or just hang out with some friends I’ll go on a really cool date with your significant other. I can’t wait to come back here again. A great great cultural experience And delicious food.

This restaurant has a nice southern Florida vibe and has both indoor and outdoor seating. There is a large outdoor area for a live band between here and Mac’s Speedshop. It would be so fun on a warm weekend with music.

Im from San Diego where Stone Brewery rules, and found Stones BUENAVESA Lager here! I tried the Jerk Chicken Fries, they’re topped with Pico de Gallo, Sour cream, cheese and there salsa! Delicious

This used to be one of my favorite spots in all of Charlotte. I would come all the time and it was my favorite place to go in sunny months to sit on the patio and have a few drinks with friends. But they made some significant menu and vibe changes lately that I am really bummed by.
They got rid of a lot of their best dishes, like the carnitas, and their margaritas have tasted more like sour mix than anything else lately. You can’t order just salsa or queso or guac now. You have to order all 3 at once. And they stopped donating the proceeds from chips and salsa to a local food bank, which is really disappointing.
I went last night and my quesadilla was really wet and greasy. I just hate when your tortilla is more wet than anything else. It should be nice and crispy and served on a dry plate. It was physically difficult to eat it because of how wet and greasy it was.
The service was great though last night. Sometimes, it’s been rough but the food’s been worth it.
I hope things get back up to the quality I came to expect from it, because I’d love to frequent it more this summer.

2nd time coming here in years and no complaints. Arrived right at 12 pm. on a Sunday, and we were seated immediately. Our waitress Olivia was awesome. Gave great recommendations and was super patient with us. My friend and I ordered from their brunch menu, and she got the cinnamon French toast, and I got the breakfast burrito. All was delicious. The French toast had the right amount of crispy sugar to it, and the breakfast burrito had everything from eggs, bacon, chicken, French fries, beans, and rice. All was delicious and there were no complaints. There was a DJ spinning all the latest in music. I thought it would be much busier when, in reality, it was not, and it was nice to be able to have our little private conversation. Definitely will come back maybe during lunchtime and try other things on their menu.

Great venue, service and food. Lunch prices seemed reasonable and the bulgogi bowl was delicious (though I had no real idea what to expect from it since I’d never heard of such before). Definitely worth getting and would eat here again. I was worried about parking to begin with, but there were several spots available even at 12:30pm which I assumed would have been the lunch rush for a spot near the Downtown Charlotte area.

First time visit and I have zero complaints! The vibe is inviting and like a little Caribbean getaway. The strawberry basil lavender mules are delicious!! I had a the curry shrimp dinner and it was full of flavors and you could taste the freshness of the shrimp. The goat empanadas were shockingly amazing. I didn’t think I would enjoy those. Make sure you get the trio dip which comes with salsa, guacamole (it’s spicy!) and queso. Be sure to ask for Rachel!! She’s the best!!
