We decided to go last minute! Upon arrival the bar was full so we went back to the hostess to ask for a seat in the dining area. She was really nice and sat us immediately. I ordered the catfish entree with string beans and macaroni and cheese. The catfish was perfectly fried golden brown. The string beans had fresh garlic chopped up on them which added to the flavor. The macaroni and cheese was flavorful with a good amount of cheese in it. Overall, my food was great! The service was great as well. Our waitress Leslie consistently checked in with us to ensure we were okay. The atmosphere was casual and the bar area was full. They also had a private event going on in their private event space. There was ample parking when we arrived but it was full after we left. There’s a new dispensary right next door and if they’re open, parking may be an issue. Overall, my experience was great!

Yesterday was my first time visiting this place. I heard so much about it. I was not impressed. I ordered the brisket it was dry with no flavor the broccoli had no flavor and it wasn’t fully streamed. I ordered the collard greens however I didn’t eat them because I wasn’t sure if they were made with turkey. I forgot to ask. I gave some of it to the dog and the rest in the fridge. The only good thing was that everything was hot.

I didn’t enjoy the food I had. The salmon was toc fishy, the mac and cheese was just that-macaroni and cheese-and the greens were nothing more than plain green without any seasoning. The service was great and the drinks was amazing, would i recommend yes for the great services good music and drinks the cornbread wings and catfish was good but not the salmon

This place should be just for entertainment. I thought I had a place to eat that was close to home. I ate there about 3 times. First time not impressed but I tried again. The cat fish was pretty decent. Had it with Mac and cheese and candied yams. It was ok. The last time I said let me be safe and get wings. The wings was a decent size but was overcooked. How can you mess up wings. They were dry and hard. That will be my last time unless I want cat fish.

Service was actually awful. The first thing the server said to us was “you want like drinks or like something” seemed like they never served a table in their life and that they didn’t want to be there. Server didn’t even know if they had ice tea. We had to find our own utensils because the server was literally missing. Also most of the staff was either hiding away or on their phones in front of costumers, not a good look. The bathroom was sketchy, you had to walk down a dark hallway with no lights to get there. Food was alright. Anything that had cheese on it was so greasy. The pictures are the plate from the quesadilla and a pool of grease in the Mac and cheese. I also did have the brisket which was decent nothing really crazy though. I probably won’t end up going back there again.

I ordered pulled chicken which included two sides. It was pretty good. Unfortunately, I have only had Texas BBQ so my rating may not be balanced. The best BBQ in these United States hails from Texas. Period! But since I couldn’t fly to Texas I had to settle with The Valley. Service was fast. I ordered take out. The vibe here has changed since I was here in 2017. Its a nice local spot.

Went to 2 events there. Recently my fiance had his birthday party there. Ee We Had a great time, music is great staff is very friendly & the atmosphere was great. Would recommend for small gatherings, food, fun & good music. Parking can be tough at times but, overall its a nice place.

Hello my foodies! I’m back in NJ and stopped by this place that we had seen a few months back but could not get into. It was super packed, so we couldn’t get in at the time. We finally got in on a Sunday afternoon, and it was petty quiet. The place looks bigger than it is from the outside. There are two dining areas and another room in the back for the sports fans. They have a main bar and huge TV’s by the main bar area where they show the games playing that day. They have a medium-sized menu easy to see their selection. Mostly MEATS!
Also, some choices of seafood as well. The price is a little higher for the BBQ platters they offer, but you can share them with a second person. We tried the combo that came with ribs, pulled pork and sausage, macaroni, and corn bread with collard greens on the side. Overall, it was pretty good. The meat was tasty. The macaroni wasn’t to my liking, but the rest was pretty good! Great ribs, and the pulled pork was delicious. Our server was great and friendly. I would suggest stopping by and checking out this spot.

My baby shower was hosted here back in August. John and the staff exceeded our expectations. They went above and beyond to ensure all our guests were taken care of. The food was served timely and just as we requested. There wasn’t one complaint from any of our guests. I would highly recommend them for catering or just stop by for a bite after work! They will not disappoint!
