Was in town for my girlfriends birthday and our anniversary and had an absolutely terrible time here. Bartender was lovely and sweet but allowed regular patrons to loudly make racist and homophobic comments and eventually make homophobic weird comments towards us (we are a straight couple also so it made it even stranger). Cocktails were way overpriced and disgusting. Would absolutely never recommend this bar and showed us an extremely ugly side of this beautiful town. Very upsetting.

This place is not very welcoming. About a month back I had gone here with a couple of my friends who live in the village of Warwick. While inside we were standing in the middle of the bar (quite literally in the middle next to the pole that’s adjacent to the pool table), it was packed and everyone was shoulder to shoulder. Somebody who works there came up to us, shook our hands and then was like “im sure your nice guys but you need to move” which is super weird cause not only did he single us out he started out as if he was genuinely happy to see us, like some sort of weird social bait and switch. Now fast forward to last night and it is 12:00 am on the night of December 13th, it is literally 10 degrees outside, the second i walk in another guy who works there and with a cowboy hat on told me to take my hoodie down (I was wearing a pullover sweater with a burton snowboard jacket over it and a beanie) while other people were wearing hoodies and beanies to like, keep warm SINCE ITS 10 DEGREES OUTSIDE AND FREEZING, like take it easy there John Wayne. With being singled out and the super awkward and standoffish interactions I’ve had here, i don’t think there is, has been or ever will be a more unwelcoming bar in the village of Warwick. This place is run by wannabe good ole boys. So if you don’t fit or look like a certain type you will get singled out here and its not just me in the village who has had these experiences. Also as a final note I’ve had wonderful experiences with the bartenders there, its just everyone else who works there that makes this place miserable.

I’ve been coming to South Street Saloon since they’ve opened and feel that they are a great asset to the Warwick community. It is a welcoming atmosphere to bring together locals and out of town visitors. The owner is always present, he is very friendly and you can tell he takes pride in wanting his customers to enjoy their experience. South Street Saloon offers a variety of entertainment with live music, a pool table, a dart board and a back patio with fire pits. With the perfect location right in town, swing by South Street Saloon for a cold one after you dine and shop through the village.

Warwick resident over 30 years , originally from the south Bronx Ny . Patty and his fam welcomed us with open arms and I’ve been a regular ever since . My wife and myself live here and my kids as well . Any negative reviews in my opinion just false . No racist vibe at all strictly treated like family . And I’m a black man myself . So with that being said we’ll focus on the good , pricing is great , and the hot dogs are to die for ! Patty and hazel are wonderful people and glad they opened up this fine establishment! Five stars from my family.

Great atmosphere & great service. Stayed for hours & Paddy & Bernie were very attentive to everyone (regardless of race). This is a welcoming place with fair prices & good service. They made us feel at home even though we’re just passing through.

The wings here were amazing! Nashville Hot was my favorite, followed by the Garlic Parm. The Hot Dogs were great, specifically the Carolina Dog. Loved the atmosphere and the big side up doors/windows. Bartender was super attentive. Will be back for those wings!

I lived in Warwick for 3 years now i have been to every place in town and never experienced racism until I went to this place today. Came in and sat waited for 20 minutes and NOBODY came and acknowledged us. The guy behind the bar saw us and kept talking looking at us the whole time. If you are Hispanic or Black they don’t want your business. Be aware.

Hiking through on the Appalachian trail. Stopped by for a beer and Paddy and Bernie were so friendly and accommodating. We ended up staying for the whole afternoon. We stayed here for hours with latin friends and everyone was treated fairly.
