The first time my girlfriends and I went here for a dinner, It was absolutely everything! I got pineapple rice with shrimp, it was phenomenal.
The ambiance and cool setting made it an idea spot for people who love the ocean, like me. ❤️
But the second time I went there was last Friday and The pineapple rice recipe tasted way different.
I liked it much better the first time.
Drinks were amazing.
Service was great. I will try again

came here tonight w my friend for the first time. everything we had was delicious! Alec (i think? it was kinda loud ahh) was our server and he was attentive and helpful. we had a chance to meet ruth & she made us feel welcomed! we played a round of putt putt and even though it was pretty busy we had a good time. just hope that the elevator is repaired soon because i like to advocate for accessibility. recommending this place to all of my friends and hope to be back soon 🙂

I will them them an A for effort. Sort of. We loved the decor and attempt at authenticity. However overall they missed the mark. My margarita might be the smallest $15 marg I have ever had. And the sugar to alcohol ratio not good. The food was just okay. Best thing we had was plantains. Service was very slow. I am glad we have it a try but wasn’t impressed.

South Seas Tiki & Putt Putt in Louisville has a fun atmosphere and the putt putt itself is enjoyable, but the food misses the mark badly, which is why this is a 2.5-star review. The highlight of the visit was Ka-Leah, whose outstanding customer service and attitude stood out far above everything that came out of the kitchen.
The menu feels like just another millennial’s attempt at overpriced fusion food that sounds better on paper than it tastes on the plate. The best things ordered were actually the kids’ cheeseburger and the fried cauliflower, which were decent but not enough to justify the overall food experience.
The chicken and tots were a major disappointment; the grease they were fried in left a dirty, burnt aftertaste, and the chicken itself was overcooked in oil that was clearly too hot. The house pickles were made with a very sweet vinegar that tasted almost like someone mixed pineapple juice with vinegar and soaked cucumbers overnight, creating a strange, off-putting flavor.
On the positive side, the atmosphere is good, the vibe is fun, and the putt putt course is an entertaining way to spend an evening. If you do decide to go, do yourself a favor and grab McDonald’s beforehand, then just stop in here for the putt putt and maybe a drink while you play.

I got the golf session for two thru Groupon which was $12.15 cuz of the new years promo which is not that bad for 10 holes. Got food and beers which were a bit on the pricier end but still loved the ambiance and vibe of everything. Service was awesome! The bartender was helpful, and the waiter was highly attentive with excellent communication. Man O War is what I ordered and it was tasty… but $19 for that ? Geez.. anyways the experience was fun though

Had an absolute blast on a lazy Sunday with some friends. The Waiter was hilarious and the food delicious! Has a very new age south beach tiki vibe and the putt putt is very creative, l’m definitely up for going again!

This place has a great atmosphere and yummy food menu. We got the crab Rangoon dip, coconut shrimp, Katsu sandwich, and pineapple fried rice and it was all delicious! We also had plenty of leftovers. They do have mini golf there, we didn’t participate this time but will be back to try it out.

1st time trying this place, felt it was over priced (brunch Menu- salad, burger and 2 adult drinks bill over 60.00). The adult drink I had was 14.00 and it was a small glass. They tell you 2 go to the elevator for miniature golf, however the elevator doesn’t work. Walk up 2 flights in a smelly dark hallway to the 2nd floor, for part of miniature golf.(last 2 holes are on the 1st floor) Im afraid I will not be going back. Was like a fast food place trying to pass as fine dining. (not a lot of vegetarian options)

Gave this place a try because the kids wanted somewhere fun to eat. The atmosphere was lively and the food was flavorful—we shared the ceviche, crab dip, and loaded tots, all of which were packed with taste. The adult drinks were fun and creative, though a bit overpriced for the size.

While the adults relaxed, the kids enjoyed the mini golf course. They had fun, but said it wasn’t exciting enough to come back for. The biggest downside was the service, which fell short and left us disappointed.

Overall, it’s a fun spot to check out once, especially with kids—but don’t go in expecting great service.

I want to like this place. I went twice to give them another chance. I even ate the food yesterday when a co-worker ordered it via delivery for lunch. And the food is just ok. I tried my friends kahlua pork, mac salad and salad yesterday. The mac salad was great! Salad dressing great! The pork was overcooked and very dry. But my friend really seemed to like it. I’ve had that dish before elsewhere.

Today we tried a bunch of appetizers. The coconut shrimp was very good. The tater tot volcano was missing half if its volcano (as advertised on menu) and the server brought a cup of jalepenos when I asked if there should be chopped peppers on the dish. It was missing something else but I forgot what it was. It want very good anyway.

The wonton chips. Some were good. Great idea! However they were so coated in oil my kid and I were both sick later. I saw other people order it and they didn’t look as shiny so I think ours was possibly a fluke. The dips were good (guac and queso), and the black beans were very good. The cauliflower nuggets were not good. I order this dish at a lot of restaurants. This is not one you should order that at.

We got both desserts. The churros were pretty decent, but the pineapple upside down cake was legitimately not edible. I’m not sure if it was old, over cooked, microwaved too much or what. It also lacked a sauce promised in the description.

So, overall really disappointing and greasy. And, while the atmosphere is kind of cute, it’s just really busy and cups and putters, and all kinds of stuff are left all over. The people using the putt putt course seem to be kind of inconsiderate of the staff. People could easily take their cup somewhere when they finish.

The putt putt is cute and with Groupon deal it is worth it. But with the large groups taking forever, I would not pay more. We skipped holes because it took so long.

All in all I would go back for putt putt and an overly sweet cocktail but maybe not food.
