This restaurant deserves an excellent rating for its amazing food and lovely atmosphere. The coffee is rich and perfectly brewed, making it a great start to any meal. The fried tomatoes are crispy and full of flavor, while the Caesar salad is fresh, well-seasoned, and perfectly balanced. The waffles are absolutely delicious crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The music is also excellent, creating a relaxing and enjoyable vibe. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy great food and good ambience.

The service was amazing. Everyone is was so kind and great. We were given biscuits and cornbread as bread service which were both sooooo fluffy and flakey.
The pimento cheese spread was delicious and we got the pork belly app as well
We were so stuffed from tacos and churros we had for lunch so we split a fried chicken as an entree.
The staff was so amazing they cut the chicken for us in the kitchen and made 2 plate presentations to serve it which has never happened in any restaurant I’ve ever been to.
If I wasnt so tored and full, I would have ordered more food.

My husband and I recently dined at South City Kitchen Midtown and had a great overall experience. The service was excellent — our server, Tameal, was professional, friendly, and very personable, which really elevated the evening.
The food quality is consistently delicious, and everything we ordered was very tasty. The prices for the food and drinks are reasonable in my humble opinion, though slightly on the higher side for what’s offered.
One thing to keep in mind: the ambience is very vibrant, but it can be extremely loud downstairs — to the point where you’re almost shouting across the table. If you or someone in your party has difficulty hearing, I would definitely recommend requesting upstairs seating.
Overall, a solid spot for great Southern cuisine and attentive service! Thank you

It was a great experience. Four party people, all of us have enjoyed it and shared it together. The corn bread and biscuit which was complimentary was amazing. Had she lobster soup which was flavorful.
We ordered carolina trout, fried chicken, wagou beef and shrimp and grits. All was amazing and worth the price.
Server wasn’t bad but could have been better.
Over all had a great experience and definitely be back next time we are in Atlanta.

The experience at South City Kitchen was fantastic from start to finish. Greeted from the door to the actual service from our waiter Manny… I literally have not one complaint. Our waiter suggested the perfect way to get all the foods we wanted to try. Even bringing out a dish separately simply because we made a mention about sharing. Everything was so flavorful and hot when it came to the table. The drinks were amazing as well. If I’m ever in the area again, I would definitely be revisiting South City Kitchen.

My husband and I came here for dinner and we had such a great experience. Our waiter was responsive and timely and extremely warm and inviting. Our host sat us in a nice, well lit area at a private table that was perfect for two! I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and my husband had the NY strip. Everything was cooked to perfection. My only critic is that for the price you’re paying the portion sizes could have been a bit bigger in my opinion. We got the chocolate pie for dessert and it was one thin slice between the two of us. If you’re a light eater though, it might work for you. All in all, we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely come again to try more of their menu.

Cornbread and biscuits were very good and I regret not saving some stomach. Highlight was the chicken liver. Very well cooked and sauces paired perfectly. Pork belly was good but a tad too well seasoned for me, as was the BBq shrimp. She crab soup was interesting but I would have preferred more crab! Mains of beef cheek was very tender, very good grits. Shrimp and chicken, again the shrimp was over salted. The sauce and grits was very good. Overall portions don’t look big but they do fill you up quick. Sorry I had no room left for dessert.

Wow, talk about an amazing way to begin your day, even if you get a later start. The food speaks for itself. Flavorful, fresh, and definitely some southern flare in your meal. The staff added to the great experience, not only with meal selection, but with local area knowledge as well. Atmosphere was comfortable and cozy, inviting. Finding this place allowed for a wonderful meal, good company and a chance to have the energy to explore the area. Stop in and begin your day.
