Everytime I come here I am never disappointed. The flavours are amazing, the wine to die for. The steak always melts in your mouth. From the starter to dessert every bite is divine. Will always be my favourite restaurant.

Gonna break from the crowd here.

Didn’t think very highly of this venue.

Came here as a ‘let’s try this one’ recommendation from a friend and started to get a feeling about 10 minutes in.

We’ve eaten and been in France a lot, and it feels like they are trying to create a little French eatery but not quite hitting the mark in each area.

1. Incredibly loud. The tables are so tightly packed in with so many people you are talking/yelling at the person next to you. Some sort of design flaw?
And we were seated in the M62 serving corridor which makes the poor service noteworthy.

2. Impressively uncomfortable seating. The sort of upright brown dining chairs your great grandparents might have had.

3. Service was dreadful. Was like we didn’t exist, and when it was present it was service with a grimace. One chap with grey trousers and short reddish hair appeared to be a manager of sorts and took our order like he was doing us a favour. Was s 3h15m experience due to the service, of which probably 45m was eating. We would have ordered a lot more drinks IF we could have.

4. Impressive wine cellars, filled with incredible wine-I don’t drink alcohol so am not side tracked, and was more taken with the grubby toilets with the handle hanging off the scratched and mucky doors.

I had pig cheeks. Absolutely incredible, and melt in your mouth, 5 stars. All the starters on the table were incredible.

No bread served. Odd. We had to ask even though all the starters were ‘saucy’ and then followed a pallava with counting the number required and allocating plates.
Every French restaurant I have been to EVER just drops off a basket of bread. One friend was eating soup BTW. Amazingly we were charged £1 per roll which seemed comical on a £320 bill.

Main course for me was venison special. It was served cold (not supposed to be cold) and was so tough I had to saw with the knife. Sent it back and the kitchen agreed it was too tough. I was fed up of waiting at this point and just ate the potatoes which you pay extra for.

Dessert was a drop dead fabulous chocolate fondant which would be the only reason my friends would be able to make me return here. Stunning in every way, perfectly cooked and served with excellent ice cream.

Maybe I was unlucky tonight because the other reviews seem very impressed.

My share of the bill bearing in mind I drank tao water and sent my main course back was £60.

I had ramen the day before for £11, served in 8 minutes and was perfect.

I can think of at least 10 other places to eat that are better in Leeds than here.

BUT, I would come back for the fondant alone, it was that good. Incredible how they got it to taste that good with a perfectly matched ice cream. Fabulous.

Valentines Day lunch – because the evening service was fully booked (a very good sign). The Maître D was an extremely pleasant/professional fellow. I observed that the remaining waiting staff were late teens/early twenties which was nice to see at a time when youth unemployment is at an all time high. Highly-trained and highly efficient. A joy to see. And the food was of an excellent standard. I thoroughly enjoyed my Venison/Haggis Wellington. An adventurous choice for me but delicious. A delightful and romantic afternoon. Highly recommend and will be back.

My wife and I had lunch and what a lovely meal it was.

As it is a French restaurant I had Fish soup and it didn’t disappoint. I have not had Fish soup for a long time and it brought all the memories back from going to France on holiday.

I had Calves liver for my main course and it was beautiful.

The price was good and reasonable.

Would I recommend and return, I definitely would.

If you like my honest reviews please follow me as I review on a regular basis.

Been here a few times over the years and I’ve never had a negative experience. From start to finish you are always looked after by the staff, the atmosphere is always good and the food is incredible!! Here is my wood pigeon starter, steak (bear in mind this is only their cheapest steak at £25) and creme brulee

This has been an amazing dinner tonight. The menu of the day was an incredible value and for excellent food. My prawn tempura and steak were perfectly presented and both cooked as requested. The dark chocolate fondant was so delicious. My husband had the chicken liver parfait and then Yorkshire pork. Both were just as good as mine. We did dinner with wine which were very good for the price and were nice addition. Cushla and John as well as all staff were professional and wonderful servers. As many new places come and go this restaurant has been around a long time and my only regret is not coming g in sooner. I will certainly be back!

It was Birthday & my first ever visit to the Restaurant to Dine. The Restaurant was exceptionally quiet due to the time of year. I think I counted 10. Starter, pig cheeks were stunning but my wives French Onion Soup was lacking in flavour & very watery. Considering it’s a French restaurant bitterly disappointing . Main course , Duck was fantastic but my dish from the special Board Brown Butter Roasted Monkfish on the Bone , Brown Crab & Spring Onion Risotto was one of the worst dishes I’ve ever had & made my comments known to the Waiter which was a complete waste of time. His reply was sorry & I will tell the Chef. Wow!!. The Risotto was revolting & neither of us could stomach more than a mouthful, the fish which I’ve always wanted Monkfish on the bone was very small didn’t flake like it should & was as tough as cardboard. Dreadful. We decided to skip desserts & coffee & get the bill. I’m afraid I won’t be rushing back or recommending this Restaurant. Had better Birthdays

Pretty hidden restaurant located under Quebec’s hotel but definitely worth a visit. We ate on a Friday lunchtime and expected to eat from the set menu we’d seen online but unusually they only offer this in the evening. They do have a bar menu for lunch but we opted for the main menu and the food was delicious. Highlights were the french onion soup & Fillet steak gateaux, not the cheapest but absolutely delicious. The staff are very friendly and the service was excellent with a good recommendation from the extensive wine list from our friendly waiter. We will definitely be back.
