As a self-proclaimed soup girl, Soupy’s was everything I could’ve ever asked for. Service? So fast. Menu? Simple with lots of options to mix n’ match. Food? So, so good. It was drive through only when we visited, but the menu was easy to read and the ordering process was super smooth. Our food was ready quick, super hot, and was very neatly packaged. Absolutely hit the spot on a cold, gross day.

Quaint little drive through spot, is drive through only but has has 2-4 outdoor tables (2 tables in back only had 1 chair last visit) if you want to park and eat. Most people just drive through. They also have delivery on their website. Pricing is very cheap for today’s standards. Food is delicious!! Cheesy potato soup A+, corn rolls A++

Very rude and immature teenagers working there. This place use to be great. It gets worse everytime I go. Plus they keep closing earlier and earlier. Why close earlier at the peak soup season. The lunch meat has had an off taste my last 2 visits. And the soup is getting to have more broth than ingredients. Im not paying those high prices anymore for a bunch of broth. And bad service from some rude teenagers who need to stay off their phones and focus on the customer. And not treat them like a bother.

Soupy’s used to have the best chicken and dumplings in town. I bought some after being gone for 10 years and the pepper covered the flavor. For chicken and dumplings, pepper should remain a table condiment. Not everyone likes pepper. Unfortunately I won’t be getting them again.

I love this place
. I just discovered it as its off the main road. Their food is fresh and prepared to order. Anything on their menu will exceed expectations
Staff is friendly and the prices can not be beat. The line may be long but it moves fsst. Olease try the bread pudfing and deserts too.

I ordered a turkey sandwich with swiss cheese lettuce and tomato. I asked for light mayo and mustard. When I took the sandwich out of its wrapping, it had so much mustard and mayo on it, it was dripping off. It was completely inedible.
And the soup was not edible either. The taste was off. Or maybe it was because the sandwich was so bad, I lost my appetite.
I generally have gotten decent food thers so I was very disappointed this time.
I think it’s going to be a while before I go back because I spent fifteen dollars on two things and neither were good. With price is going through the roof I might think twice in the future because if the quality’s not there i’m not spending the money.

I used to work in McMahan Plaza for years and always loved coming to Soupy’s. (We’re talking 15+ years.) I always got the chicken salad sandwich and potato soup. I haven’t worked there for a while, but whenever I’m in Hikes Point, I like to stop by. Over the last year, every time I come, the sandwich has gotten thinner and thinner. The layers of chicken salad were always thinner than most restaurants, but the flavor was so good, especially with the lettuce, tomato, and pickles, I still loved it. The last few times, it’s been getting bad. This time, I could literally see the bread through the chicken salad. It was like it was spread on the bread like mayo. And only about half the bread was even covered. Plus, there was hardly any lettuce and about 2 pickles. Most of my bites had no chicken salad, or anything, at all. It was just stale, awful bread. I got my mother the tuna salad sandwich, and hers was just as bad. She pulled off about half the bread because it tasted so bad and there was nothing on it. She was going to eat half the sandwich and save the rest for later, but ended up eating the “whole” thing (minus all the plain bread she pulled off) because she was hungry and there was no substance to it.
It makes me sad to write this review because I love supporting local, family-owned restaurants. (I’m not sure it’s still family-owned. My mother used to know the man who started Soupy’s, but I’m assuming he retired.) With the prices going way up and the quality going way down, I’m afraid my family will never go back. Too bad since this used to be a local gem. It’s sad that they’ve cut so many corners to try to make a profit, but, in the end, they’re going to lose all their business.

I want to start with I love the soup here and I have never had an issue where customer service really came into play here because everyone is so kind and nice and the place is generally well ran parking situation is annoying but I’m sure the employees are inconvenienced by it as well! But to whoever I dealt with today when I tried to walk in not realizing that walking in is no longer an option I don’t know your name but whoever it that offered to take my order in the car and then gave me a discount for waiting you made my day, not for the discount but because of how kind you were to me even though I was going through it! I come for the soup all the time! I truly have a problem with your alls potato soup it’s the best and I do not feel well today I needed to get back to work the man behind me in line was honking at me and you made all that irrelevant. I’m sorry I didn’t ask your name but I hope you have the best day and whoever your boss is should give you a raise for customer service, most people wouldn’t have realized it was me in the line 10-15 ish minutes later.

It was a drive through, no eat in areas. The Barbque was good, tender but I could taste the vinegar in it. The soups were full of onions, so I couldn’t eat it as I am allergic. Large soup was $7, so kinda expensive to us. We won’t go back.
