We knew exactly what we were in for when we chose this spot for lunch one Saturday… soup and empanadas! This family-run eatery just opened in February.

Delicious cuisine prepared by a family. It really can not get more authentic or delicious. It feel more like eating in someone’s large home kitchen than a formal restaurant. As the name implies, the principal menu items are soups and empanadas. In my friendly conversation with the chef-owner and her sister, we learned that the restaurant had been open for just a couple months. The family is originally from Honduras. You will think you are in the wrong place. It’s an office building and except for some temporary signage you’d never know there is a restaurant there, including that you must walk through what appears to be a day-care area to get to the large room containing the service counter, several tables, and two pool tables. The tortilla soup broth was rich with a nice hint of spice and filled with diced onion, spices and a nice avocado. The empanada was pleasantly doughy and filled with well-cooked beef and potato.

I was looking for empaniadas here around the Bellevue area and found this wonderful place. I ordered more than a dosen of them in all flavors for my team. They were soooo delicious and crispy!!! The working staff was so friendly and welcoming. Easy to find – just follow the Yellow Picture ( Soupe and Empanadas). Enough parking. Easy access.

Very odd location. It’s in the same building as an art school/child care center. Hard to find. Very sweet owners.

No one was around. I walked all around the building and in and out multiple times. Not sure if they provided their number but my doordash app gave me the customers number in place of the business contact caller. When I want back to talk to talk to them, again completely vanished

This place is amazing. I’m in Bellevue for a day and wanted to walk to lunch and found this gem tucked away. It’s a little tough to find, but so worth the work!

Cancelled my scheduled Uber eats order after I had planned on having them for dinner. Wish I could have had a chance to try the food.
