The food here is amazing! I had the BBQ sandwich, slaw, chips and added a bowl of potato salad. Everything was exceptional. The BBQ is a sweet BBQ which I normally prefer a savory and slightly spicy BBQ but I haven’t had any BBQ that was better than this.

Great Family Dining. Our food was delicious. Very friendly service. We tried pulled pork sandwich and chicken salad croissant. For dessert, we tried the home made lemon blueberry cake and coconut cake.. Yummy… and I don’t usually like lemon or coconut cakes.

Absolutely amazing. From the staff to the food! The restaurant is set in an old historic building and is very beautiful inside and out. The restaurant does have a limited menu due to COVID-19 but there are more than enough options to choose from. We selected a soup and sandwich lunch special and was amazed at the fresh quality taste of everything. The potato soup was amazing. We also chose two pieces of cake because we couldn’t decide on just one. Excellent decision as they both were delicious. We will definitely be going back!! If you’re in the area definitely stop in to try out their amazing food and atmosphere.

We have been driving by this restaurant for a few years and finally stopped for lunch. Delicious!!! Best chicken salad croissant ever. Fresh cantaloupe. My husband is a meat and potatoes guy and he loved his ham and cheese panini. Wonderful atmosphere and very friendly staff. Only wish we had been going for these past few years!!! We will be coming back often.

A friend of mine took me here for the first time a month or so ago and said I would love it. Loving it is definitely an understatement! The atmosphere is amazing, super cute and quaint. Very reasonably priced and the food is amazing! Best chicken salad I have ever had. They have a variety of sweets each day and it is always ever changing options. I’m here at least once a week now for lunch and cannot put into words how awesome this gem of a bistro is!

We were here for lunch a couple months ago on our way from st Louis to Louisville, KY. Conveniently located off I64 at Ferdinand exit two miles down main road. The house, kitchen and dining area was like a venture from the past. The food was devine as I had tomato basil soup, tuna on a croissant and freshly baked strawberry rhubarb pie which was so good that I bought another piece to go just to have later at home and so nostalgic. Trying to find an excuse to go back. Yes it was that good.

We ordered off menu, but they had the apples, cheddar cheese, orange marmalade and bread to make Apple Cheddar Melt sandwhich with ham. Both the Cheddar potato soup and melt were divine. Was too full to try the cakes and cookies.

It is in an old historical house which belonged to the local doctor. Out of this home he raised 11 children, the local Post Office, which was operated by the first American black woman appointed by the doctor, as well as the local apothecary (pharmacy) in modern language. You might ask, why only 4 stars instead of the five. In my world, there has only been one restaurant that has received that elusive 5th star. That was CARVERS of Roseville CA. They have been out of business for some 20 plus years. That 5th star cannot be had, due to little things, all human beings are fallible and fall short. This is what makes Soup and Such the place to visit and enjoy, because each meal is prepared with the greatest of care and love.
