Soul Food India is a hidden gem! Their samosas are truly the best—always made fresh to order. The snacks are consistently crisp and flavorful, and the place is very clean. They offer a limited but well-curated selection of freshly packed items. If you’re craving a tasty evening snack, pair their hot samosas with a cup of tea—you won’t be disappointed!

Today I visited to this store and no doubt that food is very authentic and tastes awesome. I ordered kothimbirvadi and I was surprised to know there was no sause and when I asked the lady from store she said we don’t give any chutney. I lived in Maharashtra most of my life and never had kothmbirvadi without any chutney. It take the vadi to next level. I think these small incidents take the store repo down. Owner should focus on these things so that customer come back again and again.

I absolutely love the samosas they offer here—they’re just so good! I also have high expectations for the vada pav. The first time I tried it, it was absolutely delicious, but the second time, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. That said, it’s still a decent option to satisfy cravings, even if it’s not always perfect.
Apart from snacks, the place also offers a limited selection of frozen items and a few groceries, making it a convenient stop for quick bites and essentials. Definitely worth checking out!

I walked into this store by happenstance while waiting for my car. The owner was very kind and gracious, she spent plenty of time with me explaining certain products and what they were as well as some of the more specialty items!
As for the food, it was delicious! The samosa was the best I’ve ever eaten, and she offered a sample of this eggplant dish that was amazing! I’ll definitely be coming back here just from the kindness alone!
Highly recommend if you’re looking for spices as they’ve a wide variety or just needing a quick lunch that is affordable and delicious.

Soul food is a great addition to Dallas area. We really wanted Maharashtrian grocery store nearby so thank you for opening one. The food they offer in the store is also extremely tasty. The vada-paav and samosa they prepare in the store are heavenly. The owners are extremely hardworking and very sweet. I love going there for Marathi groceries. They also offer idli-dosa batter. The paav for vadapaav is made in shop and very soft, just the way we get in Mumbai. Their misal, sabudana vada, Kothimbir vadi is also very good.

We had Vada Pav, Misal, and Tea here. Really appreciate their effort in making in-house pav, it was exactly what we get in India, especially Mumbai. The Vada Pav itself was quite authentic, but the chutney was so watery that it made the pav soggy and ruined experience a bit. The Misal felt like it was made from a premade mix and was not close to the real Misal you’d have in Maharashtra. The Tea was just okay. Still, glad to have a Maharashtrian food place here in Texas.
