BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! I would give zero starts if I could. I had family visiting and wanted to treat them to food from here so I called a day in advance to ask for an order of biriyani, lamb curry, garlic naan, palaak paneer and chicken Tika masala. I haven’t ordered from here in a little while but wanted to try it again. The man I spoke to repeated the order several times with me and said he was writing everything down but said to call the next day to confirm everything. He sounded confused and/or new but he assured me he had the order right. The next day around noon I called to confirm the order exactly as he told me to. He asked when I wanted to pick up and I said 4. He said they are closed 3-5 but it’s okay I can pick up at 4. I was called back by another woman who said I can’t pick up at 4 but could at 5 which I said was fine. Clearly there is a lack of communication at this place. My husband showed up at 5 to pick up the order and it was running 15 minutes late. When he gets home, I see the palaak paneer is missing, the chicken Tika masala is literally just a bowl of oil (pictures attached), and the bill came out to almost $80!!! I was in shock and have never spent close to that there and even had a dish missing. I saw the lamb curry was $32 which I have never paid that price before. I called the restaurant and spoke to the same man who wasn’t helpful then he put the woman on the phone who is apparently the cook. She said lamb curry has been off the menu for 6 months and so they be default gave the only lamb dish they have without confirming with me, she recognized the paneer was missing, and finally she would not give any kind of discount. She was extremely rude on the phone and said “well you’re going to eat it right, how can I give you a discount”. I definitely do not someone like that cooking my food! There are so many other good restaurants in the area with similar food options and with quality service and food (Indian K’Raja). This place is trash and I will never go here again and do not want anyone else to get robbed of their money either!

Visited this restaurant while visiting Richmond. It is nice and clean place with a lot of space. We went for weekend buffet. Food was good but there was no beef or goat dish. Usually weekend buffets have nihari and payay etc. but they only had chicken or vegetable dishes. Food itself was good and fresh. Service was also good. Recommendation, yes. but they should also add some goat and/or beef dishes.

Good buffet spot, refreshing food in such a cleanly and tasty way. Their normal menu is amazing too, can’t remember if it was lamb or goat, but it was some of the best I’ve ever had. Only thing I don’t like about this spot are the lack of free refills on sodas, but the food is good enough not to care.

We went for lunch buffet. There were plenty of items and ample food. Chicken tandoori and chicken Bhiryani were the best. They brought fresh naan at the table. The owner was very friendly and treated us with more sweet dishes. I would recommend my friends and family to go there .

Hairy Food!!! If I could give negative rating to this place I would do so. I HAVE NEVER HEARD A RESTAURANT TELL ME ‘OH IT’S NATURES CALL WITH FOOD IN THE HAIR. THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. IT’S NOT LIKE I PULLED MY HAIR ON PURPOSE AND PUT IT IN THE BUFFET!!!’
The owner was outrageously rude and unapologetic. Ofcourse you can do something about it- Wear a hair net to avoid the situation maybe in the future.
The quality of the food has gone down tremendously. Saltless biryani, watery butter chicken garnished with rude, disinterested hospitality is what this place will give you at its best!

WOW Delectable Yum!! First time here and I Loved everything! Tender butter chicken delicious vegetable and noodle dishes many I have never eaten but we’re full of flavor and awesome spices. We will definitely be back!

I recently tried the mutton biryani. While I was eager to try it, I found the $18 small portion to be mostly rice with very little meat (only three pieces). More importantly, the flavor profile missed the mark on authenticity. Sadly, it wasn’t the experience I was looking for.

The food was great but the service was horrible. The person waiting on us did not even know what water with lemon was. The owner did not help at all. Sat and talked with a man for 2 hours while we waited. When our food was brought out the waitress could identify the food so it was given to the wrong person. One in our party waited 1 1/2 hours for her food- which she ended up taking home because we were all done eating.

The food is good. Only reason I gave 4 stars as some of the buffet items were not filled out. The buffet was full of options for both vegeterians and non veg people. But for non veg people that was a good deal. I liked the kheer most. Restaurant itself was nice and clean. Well decorated not so overwhelming. Recommended for halal foods. Btw Haleem was really delicious.
