I attended a event here so the menu was pre-set. The chicken was ok, but I felt everything was salty. The waitress was quick but didnt feel very warm and was more transactional. The veg pasta was dissapputing, felt more like parmesan and salt watet.The tiramisu dessert was the best and just melted in my mouth.

Don´t get me wrong, but be prepared to eat and be so satisfied with food that you just want to thank every one there so many times. That is the Sorrentino´s Little Italy.
An intimist place with that feeling that you are been embraced by the whole place, lights in the right place, the waiter that just put you in the right place right away and a menu that gives you the chance to eat something delicious each time you ask your food.
That is so amazing that we found this place only a year after coming to Edmonton, we were in the perfect place, with the right food and happy to be there. There are other Sorrentinos around but this one is special and made us feel so nice.
Thank you to the staff, very polite welcoming and making us feel like home!
Food? Yes, try the Gamberi Sorrentino, the Gnocchi Gorgonzola and the Canelloni, ask for any wine and just enjoy the place and the food!

We had a wonderful lunch time at Sorrentino’s little Italy.
A cozy intimate place with a great selection of Italian pasta dishes, antipasto, salads, wines and coffee.☕
It has a very nice ambiance, Italian music in the background and nice Italian home made flavor.
The main entrance is right at the right hand corner of the building, and there is a 2 steps at the from entry to the restaurant after the main door.
The ladies washroom has 2 seats, and one of them is more spacious .
The parking is street parking at front and right hand site of the building.
This place is ideal for a couple’s night out, dessert night for a small group, for a family gathering, a medium size office meeting or just to go out and training someting new.
Hopefully, you enjoy it as much as we did.

My wife and I were here about 30 years ago. It was really good then and the food was great this time also. It’s a testament that a restaurant can be good over a long period of time. The ambiance is cozy as the restaurant is on the small size. I would suggest making a reservation to make sure you get in. The food is tasty and served hot. I enjoyed the penne aribatte(spelling). My wife and I along with her parents came here for our wedding anniversaries, 33 for us and 56 for them. We had a wonderful time and we all enjoyed our food. The service was awesome, our server was attentive but a busy body. Overall the experience was great and I definitely recommend this restaurant for good food and good times.

As with almost all my reviews, it’s the staff who make or break the customer service experience. Sorrentino’s Little Italy staff excel in the customer service arena .. from greeting and seating guests to checking in throughout the meal. Truly exceptional.

If you love Italian then you must come here for a meal. This restaurant is very quaint, small with a nice ambiance, and Ed the server adds to the experience. The food, from the appetizers, main entrees, to the deserts, were all filling and delicious. Definitely will come back again.

Had not been to this location in several years. Wanted to check it out. The room is warm and inviting, the big windows, look out to the park, and especially in the winter time with all the lights is very dreamy and romantic. The fireplace is a nice touch, and the decor is classic and timeless. Greeted by the owner and made to feel like family always. The service was uncommon as our server was incredibly experienced and on top of his game. We had the Caesar salad, which was one of the best I’ve ever had, the Calamari and two pasta dishes.
The calamari was good but not my favourite, however, the pastas were incredible. The lasagna, was huge, delicious and very tasty. Could not finish that one, took it to go. We also had the Mediterranean Penne which was definitely one of the most interesting pastas I’ve ever had. It was lemony and had olives in a very light olive oil dressing. This selection was one of the lightest pastas I’ve ever had. All in all was a very, classic experience from beginning to end. Would recommend it

This is a great place to take the family out for a special occasion. Portions are very large size so some of the pasta you may want to share with someone. Ed was a great waiter. He was very attentive and made sure my mom’s Sorrentino’s coffee had enough of the good staff in it make sure you try the Tiramisu for desert. Can’t wait to come back again.
