✨ We had the most wonderful tea experience yesterday! ✨
For the price, you get a whole pot of tea plus more sweet & savory mini treats than I could even finish — absolutely delicious!

Our host was warm, inviting, and truly delightful, which made the whole afternoon feel extra special.

I’m officially in love with this place now and can’t wait to go back — especially to try some of their Bulgarian-themed dishes!

Highly recommend if you’re looking for a cozy, charming tea experience!

Wow, another Delicious find & more importantly, locally-owned restaurant, nestled in Cary! Overall, a spot that feels like part fine dining & part sports bar….love it!
Can’t emphasize enough how flavorful the Hungarian sauce in my Stuffed Cabbage dish was…w/ fresh, fresh, fresh tomatoes! They had soft jazz musicians in this lovely garden-like atmosphere when I dined on Sat night w/ my son. This place had lots of TVs for quietly viewing multiple sports. Helen took care of us like we were family and I look forward to trying their Moussaka!

Sophi’s Grill absolutely exceeded our expectations.

We needed to host 70 people on very short notice, and from the very beginning, the entire team stepped up with professionalism, warmth, and confidence. The owners were present, actively working, welcoming guests, and making sure every detail was handled—which truly made a difference.

The staff was outstanding: friendly, attentive, and incredibly organized despite the size of our group. And the food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and consistently great for everyone.

It’s rare to find a place that can handle a large event last-minute and make it feel smooth and welcoming, but Sophi’s Grill did exactly that. We’re truly grateful and highly recommend them for both everyday dining and special events.

My partner and I came to the restaurant for Valentine’s Day. The food was mostly great, but I found part of the bowl in my lamb stew and could have choked on it. (The photo shows where the bowl was broken,) My partner was also served brown broccoli. Also, we had a reservation for 6:15pm. Unfortunately, we were not seated at that time because everyone was coming late to their reservations. While I understand they want to be accommodating, it’s not fair to those who showed up early or on time. Lastly, I know the staff was very busy, but our waitress only checked on us a couple of times and even skipped over us to check on another table. I was excited for this place because of the reviews, but after going I’m highly disappointed. I did like the musician and ambiance though.

My dad and I tried a new place today! We went to Sophie’s grill and bars in Cary. They specialize in Eastern European food. The appetizer were fried cheese, caramelized onion, and potato pierogies. My entree was Pork Schnitzel over potatoes with a mushroom marsala sauce and a side of braised red cabbage. My dad had Dalmation Chicken Pasta. Chicken breast with sundried tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, lemon juice, and parmesan cheese. The ingredients were great quality, and you get what you pay for, in my opinion.

We were both very happy with our meals and the appetizer. It has 4.6 stars with 1.3k reviews. This would be a great place for a date night. Or they have things going on during the week. Tonight is poker night! I am not playing, though.

This restaurant was an absolute gem. The food especially the salmon was beyond delicious. Perfectly seasoned, fresh, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting and the service was attentive, friendly, and genuinely caring. Knowing this is a family owned business and meeting daisy and her husband made the experience even better. We could feel the heart behind everything they do. We left happy, full, and already planning our next visit! This restaurant was an absolute gem. The food especially the salmon was beyond delicious. The best restaurant in town. I had my daughters graduation party there and the owners, servers and food was off the hook. All our guests will be returning for more of the amazing cuisine.

I am astounded by all the positive reviews! We decided to try Sophie’s for the first time and had one of the worst dining experiences in recent memory. While our waitress was friendly, the food was incredibly disappointing and poor quality! We started with the fruit and cheese platter ($14). It consisted of 2 slices of cheddar sandwich cheese cut into pieces and laid out on a plate with one peeled orange, 8 Ritz crackers, and a few wedges of white cheddar. I have never been served presliced sandwich cheese on a fruit and cheese platter before. We also ordered the stuffed figs which were tasty but we were surprised to only get 4 figs for $15. After an underwhelming appetizer experience, we were hopeful dinner would be better. We ordered the Beef Stroganoff and it was awful! No tender beef as described…the beef was a small amount of shredded SteakUms. Greasy and poor quality. Tossed with a few mushrooms and alot of rotini pasta. No savory sauce- it was dry and unappealing. No seasonal vegetables as described on the menu. Took 4 bites and decided to wrap up the evening here. I would not recommend trying this place. We wasted $90 on poor food. We won’t be going back. I have to assume maybe something changed recently and things took a sharp downward turn based on positive reviews from the past.
