Tasty sandwich…not quite like the Cuban sandwiches of Ybor City in Tampa. The bread is the biggest difference as it doesn’t taste like authentic Cuban bread nor does it have the same classic texture. Nonetheless, it is still a very good sandwich and comes as a nice sized portion. The flan was yummy too. I didn’t like the white rice with black bean side dish as it was quite dry. The staff was quite friendly and worked with a sense of urgency to get the customers taken care of quickly. I would recommend you give this place a try.

Friendly, courteous, personable yet professional staff. The owner is ‘hands-on’ as one of the staff. Grateful to have an awesome place to go for amazing food.

What I expected when I walked in, small cafe with plenty of seating, food was ready fast, croquettas were great, potato ball was great. The cuban was really good, I’m from Tampa and I’m picky about my cuban sandwiches, but this is amazing. I will return next time I’m in town.

We ordered breakfast to eat in and one sandwich to go. We finished the breakfast and continued waiting for the sandwich to go. The sandwich was finished but nobody told us. We paid our bill and continued to sit and wait. The communication was malo. Everything else was fantastic. I would definitely return, and I recommend Sophie’s.

Family loved the sandwhiches here. The price point was a bit lower than the cuban restaurant right around the corner and it seemed like the service was better overall. Lots of drinks were out of stock because of supply issues (affecting other restaurants as well). Way more people at this restaurant than at Havana’s…maybe its the price point?

When I came here nobody that works here greets you, not even a welcome.. I walked in here smiling and hoping For a positive latin attitudes.. but no and also I felt this negative energy in the cafe and everybody just staring you down real hard And talking smack About you In Spanish. I’m Dominican and I was hoping Cubans out there would be very nice and generous but I thought wrong not in this city Sebring.. ♀️ ♀️ ♀️. I guess people just hates their job. And if you don’t like your job then quit.. Anyways the sandwiches was not all that it’s supposed to be a tripleta where is the ham and where is the Swiss cheese? ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ Instead they added a yellow cheese which is a disgrace… And also the Passion fruit juice is not Authentic.. It tastes like plastic bag ♀️ ♀️ ♀️.. And also the empanada beef was not made fresh they pulled it out from whatever was sitting in the front of the store display….I will not be coming here and I will not be recommending this place to none of my friends or family or even my Cuban friends such a shame. My Wife and I ate here for the first time today. We have been trying since moving to Sebring 3yrs ago. Finally today was the day. We walked in and the waitress greeted us with a smile. She let us look over the menu and then some one else from the staff took our order. my wife was happy with the Coffe Con Leche and I had my usual tall cup of Cuban Coffee. Our meals came promtly and we ate. The cuban Bread was nice and tasty and so wast the Tostada that had the slather of butter. it was nice to see the atmosphere was family orient. We will be coming back.
