Really fun spot for a first date or simple lunch break. You could have all sorts of unique experiences eating out at this rotary sushi restaurant. That is, your experience is what you make it! The food is delicious, and the way it is presented to you is a great social experience. Convenient and fast, this sushi joint is accommodating to customers looking for a quick bite or an evening prelim. This restaurant has become a neighborhood favorite and the presence of the restaurant on Water Street is very a great addition and representation of the area. A heavily supported spot with a bright future!

I’ve been wanting to try rotary sushi for ages, and Sooshibay did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with smiles by the staff waiting at the door. The aesthetic is vibrant, clean, and colorful, it sets the perfect mood for the meal.
My group was seated immediately, and we were blown away by the variety. They have a great mix of traditional sushi and creative fusion items that cater to any palate. We weren’t even watching the price; we just kept grabbing plates because everything looked so fresh! Even with a special order roll, appetizers, soup, and cocktails, our total came to only $30 per person.
The tech is cool (they have robots helping with dishes and delivery), but the human staff is the real star as they were attentive and helpful without being overbearing. We left stuffed and happy. Highly recommend!

Second day open and this place is a treat! We got here around 8 and were seated right away. We loved the trains and robots that come around delivering food! The interior is beautiful, clean, and aesthetically pleasing. The food was delicious- the salmon was some of the best I’ve had in Milwaukee. On the more expensive side per plate as far as conveyor belt sushi places go, but worth it. There’s a large variety of dishes and non seafood/seafood options. Service is wonderful, slow, but very friendly and accommodating. This will be a place we visit frequently.

Food was good. The place was pack but my waitress took a long time to even serve us and provide us utensils. The selection of sushi on the track are decent. A bit pricey for some so placing an order for a whole roll would be better. The trolley that delivers the appetizer cool. They also had the delivery robots that stops by your table. Overall, it’s a good experience for my wife and I beside the waitress.

I just wanted to start off by giving a shoutout to our server, Mary, she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and made our first visit truly enjoyable. My daughter and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant; the food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. On top of that, the robots delivering our dishes added a unique and fun touch, though the space is a bit tight, so they can occasionally get in the way. What mattered most to me was my daughter’s experience, and seeing her so delighted made the visit even more special. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations, and we will definitely be returning.

Ab-so-lute-ly WONDERFUL. The conveyer had so many options! Everything was super fresh & flavorful. I cannot wait to go back for ramen next time! Being able to pick small plates of dishes was so fun; got to try many different things. The Strawberry Crepe Cake was outstanding! The train & robot were too cool!

This was so fun! I wouldn’t describe myself as a sushi eater, but I found plenty of tasty offerings here. My daughter doesn’t eat seafood and she also had all she could eat. We loved watching the food circle by on the conveyer belt and we ordered an appetizer that was delivered by the train. Next time we’ll have to try a robot delivery. The food on the conveyor belt is well described by a sign that comes before the food so you can decide if you want to try it. My daughter and I both tried some foods for the first time and there was nothing we didn’t like. Even if you think you don’t like sushi, I think you will have a great time here.

My new favorite place! Lots of variety. Perfect to be able to get a couple pieces of each roll, without paying full price for a whole roll. I cant eat a lot in one sitting so this place is perfect for me. You can also get to go box if needed , so its better than all you eat places. Also has items for non sushi lovers. Also, im happy to find a place that doesn’t put cucumbers in their spicy tuna/salmon roll. The rolls with cream cheese , are also not overloaded with cream cheese like some other places. But you are able to look at them before you pick up the plate, so if you want with more cream cheese, you can wait for one to come down the conveyor belt. I will be coming here regularly.!
