I had the Wednesday special, fried pork chop, with beans, tator salad, fried okra. It took me back to my childhood, I haven’t had good cooking like that in years. Highly recommend this place for a great sit down country meal.

Nice little hole in the wall type place with pretty decent grub. I’ve rode past it a million times and never even noticed it until my buddy suggested we grab a bite to eat there. Appeared to be run by the owner, sonya, and what I’m assuming is her daughter- no other employees to be seen. That being said, it took FOREVERRR to get our food after we ordered, but it was on pair with waffle house quality basically… and fairly priced as well, tbh. Definitely worth the stop, but do yourself a favor and don’t go there if you’re in any sort of rush… lol

Solid 3 local diner. Would return but probably not to often. I only tried breakfast so this review is only for that. Got the country fried steak breakfast. Food was about average or what you would expect. Price was higher than anticipated over $11 with no drink. Young lady was friendly and this service.

Mi daughter is always raving about this spot. She always gets a salad with extra chicken and she brags about the young girl who hooks her salad up abundantly. So I’ve ordered the same thing and can’t wait to try it later. The menu has a lot to offer and the prices are str8. Friendly upon entering and she knew exactly who mi daughter was . It’s a classic mum’s and pops diner and I will be returning for a big breakfast one day after a mean workout cuz me want waffle with strawberries and whipped cream, turkey sausage with cheese eggs and grits

Have been eating at Sonya’s for years. Have always enjoyed the food there. For years she served lunch and dinner with a meat and 3, but since has made it a morning only breakfast restaurant. Just don’t expect much more than a small town diner cause that’s what you get and it’s good.

This is a definitely a hometown cafe. Don’t expect anything fancy. However it’s good old fashioned southern breakfast and the best homemade Biscuit in town. The staff is super sweet friendly.
