Make a reservation. When it come to an opportunity to just drop in, you may have a hard time at this location. Parking was easy. Your steak may come out rare, with the expectation to finish it on the hot stone. The mushrooms were great. The Chuleta Mignon was best.. after that.. the wagyu australian ribeye then the Chuleta de ribeye. Go for the company you are with and enjoy.

Food was marginal at best. Quirky presentation trying to cover-up for the lack originality. Appetizer was 3 fried tortillas speard, with refried beans served in an oversized pestal and motar with small offering of salsa. The baked potato side seemed reheated from the night before. My thinly sliced PR was over cooked and tuff. The side of whole beans seemed to be canned still in juice and the rice was over cooked and mushy. The meal lacked suffistacation and execution. Basically A VERY EXPENSIVE MEXICAN RESTAURANT.
In my opinion the kitchen needs to stepup their game. Service was excellent. And the Rum Punch cocktail was GREAT.
Maybe happy hour is a better value for the subpar food.

Food was amazing, still obsessing over their baked potato but of course their steaks were perfect and so delicious! Service was amazing, Erik was our server and he was the best! It was our first time in and he helped us make our steak selections since we weren’t too familiar. Overall a great experience and will be back again.

We had an amazing experience eating dinner last night! We did not have a reservation and had to wait a bit which was expected on a Saturday night… it was so worth the wait!
Started with the guacamole, bone marrow and stuff jalapenos! We got the vascio wagyu and it was some of the best steak I’ve ever had the papa loca & cauliflower sides are also out of this world. Such a good experience and I would definitely come back when I’m in the area. 100/10

Food was excellent , atmosphere was loud, definitely need to make reservations for the weekends. Service was okay, but they forgot some of our food and were not very clear about the side dishes all being Ala carte so we ordered more than we needed which also meant we spent more which was a little unfortunate. It is pricey, but worth it! Hope to go back again soon.

We tried Sonora Steak after a friend recommended it. It was absolutely delicious! I had the fish tacos and my husband had the Grandma Quesadilla. We also had toritos (roasted jalepenos) as an appetizer. It was a bit pricey for some of the dishes but I’m guessing totally worth it. We saw a steak delivered to a table near us and it looked fantastic. I loved the salsa that accompanied the house-made tostadas. This is what they do instead of chips and salsa. Again, absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

Sonora never disappoints. Food is consistently fantastic but cherry on top is when we get Leah as our server. She is perfection! Always serves our table with a smile, attentive, but not overly so, she’s well acquainted with the menu and always has good recommendations for us without being pushy! Just love her! Tonight the music was even turned down to a reasonable volume, which has been our one complaint in the past.

It’s a bit of a drive, but it’s well worth a visit. I had the Chuleta Mignon, and it was excellent. Cooked perfectly, with fine flavor and consistency. The sides were complementary and also well done. Jen had the Grandma’s Quesodilla, reporting it was good, but she preferred my choice over hers. We’ll be coming back for more on our next trip to the south side of Seattle. The staff was friendly, knew the menu, and were attentive as they could be considering the pace they were working at.

Excellent food, we sat by the fire which made the ambiance and atmosphere cozy. Erik was our server and was attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a unique steak experience. They have good prices on other meal options if you’re not in the mood for steak. The Grandma’s Quesadilla was unique and tasty.
