Stopped for a break at the Marathon gas station nextdoor which has a few truck parking spaces. Saw this little diner and decided to give them a try, once I walked in I realized I’ve been there before.
The service was great and our waitress was very attentive.
I ordered the vegetable omelet and waffle, both were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered a bacon double cheese burger with fries, he said it was delicious!
Our visit was around 5pm and it was very slow. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing.
I will definitely return.

We really enjoy small town, local restaurants that cook from scratch… check, check, and check! We really enjoyed everything, and the peanut butter brownie we took home for dessert was with the trip to Chapel Hill, TN

Service was ok no one really acknowledged us when we walked in this was our first time there. They charge an extra 75 more for hamburger due to prices. The place wasnt really very clean the tables needed wiping down .

Had the ribeye steak, probably shoukd have tried the hamburg steak with onions. The ribeye was good, but my eyes were bigger than my stomach, so they say. I could not eat it all. Also with the steak was baked potato and salad. Overall the staff was very good. It’s a small diner with dated decor but comfy. I liked it and would again. Maybe to try the breakfast.
