Celebrated Valentine’s Day with another couple and it was such a great night. We started with ceviche, fried oysters, and duck quesadillas — crispy, savory, and absolutely delicious.
For mains, we shared the seafood paella, steak, and branzino. The paella was rich and loaded with seafood, the steak was cooked perfectly, and the branzino was light and beautifully seasoned. We also enjoyed a bottle of Pinot Noir, which paired wonderfully with everything.
Good food, great wine, and even better company — the perfect Valentine’s celebration.

Really appreciated to fusion food from this restaurant. The tapas style of the dishes is great to be able to try a little bit of everything without getting too full at once. There were many different types of dishes completely different from each other, but equally as delicious. Having the guacamole served in a molcajete was a very nice touch that stood out to me. The drinks were also great, they had many options for different palates. The staff was very attentive, they were very perceptive to empty drinks and ensured to create a positive atmosphere as we dined. They had amazing live music that created a comfortable and enjoyable environment.

We had such a wonderful experience at Sonora! The staff went above and beyond to make our visit special. We came in with three young children, and every single server was incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. One especially sweet waitress even held my baby and helped me find a private space to change her since there wasn’t a changing table.
On top of the exceptional service, the food was absolutely excellent. Every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both top-tier food and genuine hospitality, but Sonora does exactly that.
We will definitely be returning and recommending Sonora to everyone. A truly family-friendly gem with fantastic food!

Such a wonderful place to visit. My wife and I took our two children here on a whim, late on a Friday night. Originally hesitant because of the white tablecloth photos, a three-piece jazz trio is playing in the corner when we walked in. The food – sabrosa sensacionalmente! Amazing if you wanted to have a date night. Our kids are well enough contained, and it was late enough we braved it. But for the feint of heart or the fearless, you’ll feel right at home here – the young woman working up front even taught our 2 year old the sign language for “beautiful.” Recommended to our neighbors at home and recommended to you now. We’re bound to be back ourselves. Thanks to Sonora for an amazing night!!

The restaurant offers a diverse Latin-inspired menu in a nice atmosphere with friendly and welcoming staff. Overall, I had mixed feelings about the food.
We started with the crispy coconut shrimp appetizer, which was served over a thin slice of plantain. The shrimp were deeply fried—borderline overdone—but still had a good flavor. The accompanying lemongrass jalapeño sauce was very mild and lacked any noticeable jalapeño kick.
For my entrée, I had the Angus skirt steak topped with a quail egg, served alongside lobster and sweet plantain Chino Latino rice, finished with a saffron lime garlic mojito sauce. The steak arrived lukewarm . Unfortunately, the sauce was quite bland, and the rice had only tiny pieces of lobster with not much flavor overall.
My friend ordered the chicken stuffed with sweet plantain, goat cheese, peppers, and chorizo, served with saffron mashed potatoes and a sweet sherry sauce. She enjoyed her dish, and the portion size was generous.
I’d consider returning to try other items on the menu—especially when the weather is warmer so I can enjoy the outdoor seating. The restaurant also offers the convenience of an on-site free parking lot.

Went for Restaurant week and will definitely be back. All the food was delicious, and the service was polite and attentive considering it was somewhat full dinner hour. There was a change in the prefix menu, so my husband was a little disappointed, but his meal was still amazing. We started with happy hour at the bar, and drinks are not weak lol!
