This was one of the best restaurants I ever been to. There atmosphere was very nice and fancy. That food was good. Also their tiramisu cake was so delicious. They also gave me a free complement custard to go with it. I highly recommended you guys to go there!!

Easily one of my favorite places to eat. I’ve been here several times for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner, and everything I’ve gotten has always been so good. The staff are very friendly and professional as well. Delicious and affordable meals in a beautiful and calm environment. Great job Sonoma

This place is located in the lobby of the Beachwood hotel. It’s a beautiful restaurant. I wish I would’ve taken advantage and had another meal here, but my hours and their hours did not coincide. I was lucky enough to make it for one dinner. I ordered the shrimp scampi, which was the best shrimp scampi I’ve ever had. It was so buttery and so delicious. I ordered a Cosmo martini and that was really good. I was allowed to take my lemon drop martini upstairs to my room. A huge plus! The crème brûlée was very good. It was such a large amount I couldn’t even finish the whole thing. My daughter ordered the margarita pizza to which she said it was so good. She had the cheesecake and she said it was very creamy and delicious. I would love to come here and eat again. The decor is beautiful. Again, I wish I took advantage of the other side of the restaurant but couldn’t. The bar area was really pretty. Very modern looking. I loved it.

Pricey, but worth the stop to give it a go.

Standard wine selection of cheaper expressions at $10-15/glass. Scallops, scampi, and truffle fries were on point and delicious!

I stayed at The Beechwood Hotel and this restaurant is attached. Due to convenience, I decided to have dinner here. I ordered the Filet Mignon (red wine reduction) w/ mashed potatoes. This came w/ a salad & bread. Everything was absolutely delicious. The steak was very tender & flavorful. For dessert, Bananas Foster, which was flambéed at the table. Also, very delicious. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, w/ beautiful designs & features. I loved the classical background music as well ❤️

The only critique I have is that the advertised cocktail menu is unavailable; however, the bar was willing to make requested drinks.

had an absolutely outstanding experience at Sonoma Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the entire visit.

The food was exceptional. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can really tell the chefs put a lot of passion into their work. The menu offered a great variety, and everything we ordered exceeded expectations.

The drinks were equally impressive, with a carefully curated selection that perfectly complemented the meal. The ambiance was just right. comfortable, stylish, and perfect for both casual dining and special occasions.

Overall, Sonoma Restaurant gets a well-deserved 5 stars across the board: service, food, atmosphere, and value. I can’t wait to come back again soon and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

The steak tartare was LOVELY! The truffle flatbread was so flavorful. Our entrees, however, were bland and the scallops were very small. The scallops were supposed to be served with a pickled purple cauliflower— it was a slice of the cauliflower and did not taste pickled at all. Actually, it just tasted like uncooked cauliflower ‍♀️. The lamb was fine… an extremely fatty piece. We decided to skip dessert after the entrees.
The service was wonderful! We have been to Sonoma twice now, and the first experience was much better. It’s never very busy, which is definitely a plus. We probably won’t be going back again, but it was fun giving it a second try.

Sonoma is a shell of its former self. The pandemic really transformed this restaurant. What was once a premier Worcester eatery has turned into an overpriced rip-off.

Despite the other negative reviews and my own recent negative experiences, I had so many wonderful experiences at Sonoma in the past that I was willing to give it another chance. I was once again greeted by the obnoxious sign that begs your patience in light of “staff shortages caused by the pandemic” – an excuse that you may be waiting upwards of 10-15 minutes just to be seated. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case for me. I had a nice server and she did a nice job being attentive throughout my lunch, though the restaurant wasn’t near full capacity.

My first course was the Tuna app with white noodles set at market price and pictured below. The dish was average at best, and contained very very little tuna. The white noodles at the bottom of the plate where hard as a rock and tasted like something you find in the microwave aisle. However, when I got the check, I was absolutely mortified at the price of this dish – $28. This is a laughable price given the proximity of Sonoma to the Sole Proprietor, who sets their comparable tuna dishes far lower. For reference, I have included a picture of the tuna app I ordered at the Sole Proprietor which was less than half the price with nearly double the tuna. I understand that when something is set at market price, you are entering a territory where prices can vary from week to week. I suppose I should have asked just to clarify. Nevertheless, for $28, I at least expected the dish to be prepared with some finesse, and not box noodles.

I also ordered a chicken Caesar salad which was just ok. Nothing to be too excited about. The entire bill after tip came to well over $50. I would be happy to pay this price if the overall experience was elegant and refined. It was not.

While Sonoma seems to be working on the courtesy of their staff, the quality and quantity of their food has really gone downhill. I will not be returning to Sonoma – look to the Sole Proprietor, Willy’s Steakhouse, or Leo’s for a fine dining experience.

So sad to see this restaurant go downhill. I’ve never written a bad review in my life, and hesitated to write this. But we came for Mother’s Day brunch today and they didn’t ask if we were here for brunch or not and sat us upstairs. No one came to our table for 30 min. The drinks actually tasted a little sour, like things were old. Then we ordered our food and it didn’t come for over an hour. The restaurant had maybe 6 parties in it. They didn’t tell us brunch was actually downstairs so we had no idea until later.
My son ordered “sourdough French toast with orange marmalade and cream cheese” so we expected a stuffed French toast. As you can see in the picture; he got some wheat sandwich bread with a packet of orange jelly and what ended up being veggie cream cheese that had gone bad. This was rough for a 9 year old who just waited 1.5 hours for food. I had the eggs Benedict and ate it because I was starving, but won’t be shocked if we end up with food poisoning. It was all that bad. I’m disappointed as this was such a great restaurant for many years. I don’t know what’s changed, but save your time and go elsewhere.

Very very nice atmosphere, the food is great! The chef came out and made sure the food was good! The service is beyond 5 star. The whole team was great from the manager Gehan to the servers. Highly recommended!
