One of my favorite spots in Somerset. I usually get the two meat plate with the fatty end brisket and chicken, plus coleslaw and beans— all gluten free. If you have celiac or a gluten allergy, there are a lot of safe options here, which I really appreciate.
They’re also great about accommodations. I often get a brisket-stuffed potato, and almost all of the sauces are gf (minus one). The food is consistently excellent, prices are very reasonable, and the drive thru makes it super convenient.

Sonny’s charged $275 for this…kind of mind blowing and want to discourage anyone I can from catering with them in the future. It was too late to do anything about this, but just know that $275 can go a lot further elsewhere. We ended up having to go buy extra bread and make extra sides.

The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is nice. The food was ok. The roast beef sandwich was pretty good, but neither the onion rings nor the crispy onions were crispy. The rings were soft and the “crispy” onion rings were soggy. I will still try Sonny’s again.

I never once had to ask for anything—my drink was always refilled, napkins were provided without asking, and dishes were cleared promptly to keep us comfortable the entire time. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly stood out.

Our server Natasha was phenomenal! So sweet, very kind and professional. Impeccable service! She was very knowledgeable concerning the menu and took my allergy to beef and pork seriously and made sure I was comfortable with what I chose to eat. She went above and beyond and we appreciate it. The food came out very quickly and was delicious. We had egg rolls fries and the lunch smoked turkey plate. DELICIOUS!

At the restaurant more choice and absolutely delicious. I got the 4 meat platter (chopped brisket, chicken wings, baby back ribs, pulled pork. My favorite was the ribs and brisket. Add a fresh baked potato and corn pudding deep fried bites.
Son had equally yummy food with smoked turkey, tater tots, and a sweet potato.
