Jose’s Authentic Mexican absolutely exceeded our expectations! On short notice, they were able to cater a delicious buffet of chicken and steak fajitas with all the fixings, from beans and rice to toppings and shells. The food was a total hit and incredibly delicious! We enjoyed leftovers for days and loved every bite.
Working with Jose himself was such a treat. He was personable, accommodating, and genuinely wanted to make our day special, and he did just that. He and his team worked perfectly within our time frame and had everything set up and ready to go by the time we arrived at our reception. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better meal!

Good food, good atmosphere! We got mango margaritas (a virgin one for the 3 year old she loved it!) and a michelada. My husband gave that 3 out of 5. The salsa was good, no spice really. The sauce they gave with the chips and salsa was odd. I got the flautas with chicken, it had really good flavor. The beans and rice were good. My husband liked his meal but it was spicier than he thought it was going to be! As someone who doesn’t tap out from heat. He tapped out. I refused to try it lol. It was a Colorado something in the special dinner menu. The waiter stopped by multiple times to check on us. They were fast and polite. The music was good. A little loud but nothing I couldn’t hear over. And enough to drown out my 8 month olds squeals lol. Would definitely recommend. And would go back again.

This was my first time here. Very good atmosphere, I got to see a birthday you get to keep the sombrero. We sat down to eat at 6:30 and finished by 7. They were super fast with the food.

I have only been here once. Years ago. When I was 13 years old. I ordered a glass of tamarindo and it was the best thing to have EVER touched my tongue. I am serious when I say I dream about how good that food was. Highly recommend. I would be going here all of the time if I wasn’t hours away from it.

Delicious! Good service, but hard to get to at the moment with the road closures. However, the food was excellent as was the margarita! The chips and salsa are a must have! My wife had the shrimp salad and I the enchiladas! There is another location in the Dells that my buddy recommended as well.

Great food and absolutely fantastic service. We joined another hockey team for a joint team dinner and the staff provided the side room for us all to dine in. It was perfect.
Our group was about 50, and the staff did a great job taking orders and getting food out quickly.
It was an absolute joy and Jose should be proud of his great staff!

This place is great! The food was delicious. I had the tamale lunch which had shredded chicken inside and a flavorful beef sauce over it. They have an amazing dipping sauce for the chips unlike anything I have had. The atmosphere was awesome with handpainted murals everywhere and pictures of customers displayed on the walls and even the ceiling! I definitely recommend it.

Been coming here every few years when I’m in the Dells area. Always glad that I come. I got the especial el vallarta fajitas. Such a big portion for 18.99 and I took a lot back with me even though I am a big eater. A lot of places cost more for a fraction of the portions. Best part of the meal was talking with the owner, Jose. Such a nice man and was eager to talk and joke with customers and tell me more about the history of his restaurant and how they prepare some of the dishes. Will be back for more that is a certainty!

We have been here several times. (And that is probably an understatement) And this has got to be the worst experience here we have ever had. The food was absolutely tasteless. The music, well let’s just say I have been in bars that wasn’t so loud. Our waitress we had to point out what we wanted on the menu several times. Then we wanted a simple Cheese dip with Ground Beef in it. (This was before we realized just how nasty the Ground Beef was) We got charged for some other item that was like $10.99. We ended up asking for Togo containers that we put the rice and meat from my wife’s tacos and my burrito in so we can take it home to see if our dog will even attempt fate. We also asked for Togo cup with drinks. No ice just drinks. We got brought 2 empty cups. Seriously our drinks were over half gone. The best part of our meal was the chips and salsa they bring to the table when you come in.
Also to add insult to injury. We were also charged for someone’s food that was getting a Togo order themselves. Hope their tasted better than ours.
Jose I hope that you do not condone this. I hope that this was just a fluke. Jose we used to see you there all the time. I think that you need to start coming back around before this restaurant is ran into the ground.

The food is authentic and delicious. They start by bringing fresh made tortilla chips with salsa, yum! We ordered chicken nachos, garlic shrimp with vegetables, steak tacos and green chile flautas.
