This was my first time here. Very good atmosphere, I got to see a birthday you get to keep the sombrero. We sat down to eat at 6:30 and finished by 7. They were super fast with the food.

The staff were friendly and always communicating with each other and the customers. Very swift service. Food was cooked and plated nicely [had Burrito el Vallarta beef] . I love how the bar area is tucked around the corner from the main dining area. The mural outside is beautiful. The hall of photos is pretty cool. Would have like the restroom to be a bit more tidy, but overall, the murals inside and decor make it a cozy place.

Took awhile for food. I think they were having problems. Waitress did tell us it was a little behind but table behind us who arrived after us got food before us, and they ordered same meal. They were very busy too so that makes a difference. Very good food tho, so worth the wait.

This place is great! The food was delicious. I had the tamale lunch which had shredded chicken inside and a flavorful beef sauce over it. They have an amazing dipping sauce for the chips unlike anything I have had. The atmosphere was awesome with handpainted murals everywhere and pictures of customers displayed on the walls and even the ceiling! I definitely recommend it.

We went to Devil’s Lake this past weekend for exploring and some much needed nature activities. After a long day out in the sun we needed some good food and drinks. My girlfriend is from Mexico and we both love Mexican food. We checked out the reviews for Jose’s so we decided to check it out. Let me just say we loved it. The food was delicious, great service and great drinks. We loved it so much we came back the next day before going back home. A lot of places say “authentic ” but Jose’s delivers.
