For a chain restaurant that is BBQ they are pretty consistent!
The atmosphere is very nice with spacious dining area and booths and tables.
The service was good.
The fried okra is excellent!
I got the pulled pork BBQ sandwich ON TEXAS TOAST, which was tasty,
However the Texas toast was a little bit soggy and the pork could have been a little bit more juicy and flavorful… would still recommend!
Last time I went I did get the order of steamed broccoli on the side instead of fries and it was cooked excellently not overcooked very nice and crisp- not cooked to death!
They’re sweet tea is too sweet and even their unsweetened tea is too sweet!
Overall a good pick for a commercial chain BBQ, however I’m much more for my local one-off spots that are not commercial they produce much better product.

We dined in last night, and I really wish I could remember the server’s name so I could give him a shout out! The service was amazing and the food was just as good! I tried the new turkey club and I tried the pecan pie egg rolls. Sounds weird but It did not disappoint! P.S. I ate the other half of the sandwich for breakfast. Lol

Yvonne D, the guest waitress was very polite and courteous during dinner. She explained the menu items and specials and had nice vibe of positive energy. The food was very tasty and fresh. I felt the restaurant choice was spot on because of the customer service and fresh tasty food coupled with a clean environment….

Nick was very helpful, patient, calm. For the first time, my yummy sweet tea didn’t taste right, he kindly brought me a replacement sweet tea…I absolutely LOVE the sweet tea!!!

From the friendly lady at the window to whoever prepared my center cuts exactly how I requested, everything was perfect. The fries were cooked just the way I like them. I even called the store to speak with the manager, Amanda, and she was genuinely excited and polite when I told her what a phenomenal job the team did.
This was honestly the best meal I’ve ever had from Sonny’s BBQ. You all absolutely nailed it tonight. Thank you!

I always love to dine in, and take out at Sonny’s in NPR. The food is always delicious and cooked to perfection. The service is and the servers are always spot on. I been ordering online a lot lately and the young men at the takeout section always make my order perfect. They are very nice and cordial always, making my pickup a pleasant experience always. The restaurant is always clean and has a nice aroma and atmosphere. ”And that ain’t no Bull”

The chicken tenders are exceptionally good. Hope to see the chicken tenders as a regular menu item, instead of seasonal. Mac & cheese is the best I ever had. Hope to see some shrimp platters on the menu. App is not user-friendly. When redeeming rewards points, the rewards points are subtracted but the item doesn’t show in the shopping cart. This is very frustrating. Overall, I would recommend Sonny’s BBQ.

Love Sonnys !!! Every time we travel we see if they have a restaurant in the town we are going to!!! The picture is of our lunch I had the BBQ pulled pork egg rolls and my husband had the tator tots, hot link mac & cheese and the 4 meat which was dark meat chicken, sliced brisket, ribs and jalapeño sausage with coleslaw and corn bread. As for dessert, we had the peach cobbler egg rolls with whipped cream, and they were delicious!!!! I will always come back to sonnys bbq… The 2 sauces closet to me are the ones I used and they were delicious!!!

I ordered Togo food, put it in the open trunk, took a super hard turn, the beans got inverted, and there was no mess. Mad props to the packagers. I thought for a second that I deserved lashings, but it turned out well. No beans anywhere! I can also say, it was day one of my buddy having a brand new Supra. Ahhhh berrryyyy guuuut!
