We have been going to Sonny’s for years. Back when the food was good and plentiful. Went thru a period where it was awful and we stopped going, but gave them another chance. We stayed with them thru them cutting portions (used to give 2 pieces of garlic bread for dinner, now is one). Last time we had Sonny’s had ribs with very little meat and tough. Today, got the pulled pork which was good and we always order a side of garlic bread (3 pieces). Well, let me tell you the side order of garlic bread was 3 tiny pieces, could fit 2 to be the size of what you get in the dinner. We also ordered a hamburger for mom on the garlic bread and what we got (our fault for not checking until home) was a burger on a bun. Mom was not happy and I will catch grief for it, thanks so much Sonny’s, we will start looking for a better BBQ place.

Matt was a AWESOME waiter. He took great care of us and our kiddos. He was kind and gave us attentive service. Food was out very quickly and fresh. All you can eat ribs were YUMMY!! Even gave us a pitcher of sweet tea for this thirsty family.

First time to Sonny’s in ~20 years. Was so looking forward to it on a recent trip to FL. It’s definitely not as good as we remembered. Had to send the brisket back because of the rubbery texture. Service was very good. Restaurant was very clean.

As a Bar-B-Q joint, it was great. The staff was friendly and the food arrived quickly. The decorations were cool (what a person would expect and appreciate). We were able to enjoy our conversation and not have to scream at each other because the crowd.

Sonny’s will be consistent, most of the time. Food was good. Sliced pork and ribs had a good time. Beans your always good. Sweet just like the way I like them. Greasy garlic bread is taste. Hot fries with sweet bbq sauce ( who uses ketchup on the fries at Sonny’s lol)

Been eating at Sonny’s most of my life, starting in Alachua County in the 70s. This Sonny’s was very good, sliced pork was smoked to perfection. They had the sauces I like most in the packets which hardly ever happens anymore. Really enjoyed it.
