After coming here a million times I finally was able to review it! We love coming here as my wife is safe with her Celiac! The food was great! Chopped brisket was very fatty but the sliced was great! Savannah was our server and she was very busy but held it together.

Our experience at Sonny’s was actually surprising. Chain restaurants can sometimes be blah, run of the mill. We had not eaten at Sonny’s BBQ in many years. And never at this location. The meal was good and the portion size was generous. The restaurant was fairly busy dining in and appeared to have a endless flow of cars in the drive-thru as well. Yet our meal came quickly, which was a surprise. The baby back ribs were great and my husband said the smoked chicken wings were not dry.

I DON’T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE …well we got there so exited this afternoon about 3:00 pm the waiter had told us my family and I to hold on for just a minute we were 7 people total we were waiting for about 10 then another family of 5 got in the restaurant she came to talk to them and she goes just follow me without waiting at all so we asked how long do we have to wait and she said 20 to 30 minutes so we asked how come the family who just got in had seats right away she responded because I’m seating them in 2 booths so we’d told her how come she didn’t even asked us if it was ok with us wich we were ok instead of just skipping us so we just decided to go to a different restaurant instead they just lost some good customers

I ordered the brisket and ribs that are up charged items. I have never seen ribs or brisket so dry and tough anywhere, why would they even serve this. It is like they put the old stale stuff in the to go orders. I called and the general manager had a very defensive attitude before asking me anything She tells me everything in the smoker is fresh and she knows this. I offered to send a video as you can clearly see I cannot even get a fork through the meat. She said she will send me coupons Monday but that does not fix the issue or excuse the quality of food they are serving.

We brought 10 young men in for dinner. Our server Ling was absolutely amazing! It was such a pleasure watching her satisfying every diners need, not just at our table. This location appeared fairly busy. Surprisingly, the food came in a reasonable amount of time. All drinks and meals were as ordered.
The only reason I have deducted a star is due to a hostess that clearly didn’t want to be there. This young lady has still some learning to do regarding customer service. Additionally, the restrooms could have used some attention. Overall I would definitively recommend enjoying lunch or dinner here.

I had the prime rib sandwich it was so good we went back Sunday March 1st walked in had a sign that read out of burgers, chicken , ribs , and prime rib their was 7 items they were out off this is not the 1st time they were out of items on the menu how do you run a resteraunt like this . Something needs to change at Sonny’s on Malabar Rd because the food is good but your always running out of food maybe order more than you have been because your killing your business and it’s not because you serve bad food but people come for good food that your always running out of come on you guys need to do better never have that problem at road house that we ended up going to.

Best BBQ experience ever!!! All of us at the table ordered the all you can eat baby back ribs and there was no shortage of them, they were hot and perfectly cooked just with the right amount of charring from the grill. Since everyone at the table got the all you can eat portion, we had the re orders placed on a big plate in the middle of our table and everyone just kept devouring them. Our amazing waitress Jada made sure we never ran out of anything, from ribs to great side dishes to drinks. We can’t stop talking about it, and can’t wait to go back.

Pulled off hwy to get some Sonny’s chicken. Got seated quickly. Restaurant newly refurbished and nice but it was freezing inside. Waited at least 10 min to get served. Ordered chicken and she came back a couple minutes later to tell me they were out of chicken. Got the menu back and decided to order sliced brisket and turkey and she told me they were out of brisket as well and something else which I forget Wasted nearly 30 minutes and decided just to go somewhere else and eat
