The chicken soup was just amazing, fresh definitely homemade and all the ingredients grandma would put in hers. The tostones however were spongy and lacking salt, the garlic sauce that came with it was hardly a garlic sauce, more like clarified butter i would def give the place another chance based on how good the soup was and the friendliness of the staff

I’ve been coming here for lunch specials. So far I’ve been consistent with the chicken soup special, that comes with a very rich delicious broth and hearty. Also comes with a side of rice that is well cooked, quarter chicken also well cooked and a decent slice of sweet plantain. All for a very reasonable price of about $14. The waiter is very kind, and gives great service. It’s a small restaurant but I enjoy the lunch time hours, it’s rather quiet but cozy.
