We went to eat at Sonny’s after church on Sunday, 08 March 2026. The restaurant was crowded. Even so, we were seated promptly, and all seven in our group commented how goodbye food was. Our visit was great. We’ll go back for sure!

Some of the best BBQ I’ve had. Traveling from Florida back home to Mo we stopped. Wings were UNREAL!!
I got the brisket grilled cheese which was delicious. My daughter got the same with a side of onion rings which were equally good. Husband got the ribs. They were slightly dry but nothing the delicious sauce couldn’t fix.
Our server Asia was absolutely incredible. All her recommendations were spot on. Couldn’t have had better service!!
We make the trip to and from often. Sonnys will definitely be on our go to list.

Sorry but I just don’t think their food is that good. I had baby back ribs-good but nothing great about them. Their baked beans taste like out of a can. Slaw is ok but too coarse. Green beans just ok

I wanted to share some praise for Ashley at the Sonny’s on Zebulon Rd. The first thing I noticed was her hilarious badge reel that said, ‘I’m nicer than my face looks’—it immediately set a great tone!
During my visit, I watched her manage the drive-thru window and the takeout counter at the same time. Even while doing the work of two people, she remained incredibly kind, kept a smile on her face, and was so attentive to detail. My order was perfect. She is a massive asset to your team and made my day!

The drive-thru and carryout service is convenient and efficient. I had forgotten my drink and she walked it outside. Thank you for that. I went inside for my carry out and realized I could have driven up. I wasn’t sure. While there I noticed a bar, so sounds like a reason to come back and dine in. The brisket and smoked chicken were excellent.

Gave them another chance today Was so pleased with the food and service. I guess it depends on who is working. Naudia was so nice and attentive. Had a wonderful lunch.

I’ll take a regular bar over the old salad bar any day! We came here Sunday around 11:30am and it was dead. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a few beers and our food. My husband’s meal came with a beer! I got the dry rub ribs which were delicious, with mac & cheese. Perfectly cooked, not mushy. The redneck egg rolls were also good. My husband had the hamburger which he said was good. Great looking new restaurant with a new vibe. We’ll be back.
Came back again today. Had the Pick 2 smoked dry rub wings and jalapeño cheddar sausage. Both delicious. Changed out the BBQ beans for green beans which were good. Cole slaw is crunchy with not too much mayo. Got cornbread instead of garlic bread and man that muffin is fire! So moist and you can see the nuggets of corn baked in them. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich which he liked. Then he ordered the giant chocolate chip cookies and these things are huge and thick and hot and delicious. I see a lot more on the menu we want to try so wait til next weekend for my next review LOL

And they just added BBQ Bowls where you can add your own choices like mac & cheese, dirty rice, pulled pork, chicken, Fritos, etc.!

Food wasn’t very good. The smoked wings are way too big and not a lot of flavor. The baked beans taste like pork and beans and the coleslaw tasted spoiled:(
