Sonnet’s is back and has a cool vibe. The Bleu Tip burger’s flavor stood out and it was not dry although it was overcooked. The crispy fries were well-seasoned and did not need ketchup. The wings had a wonderfully smokey flavor and skin that shattered at each bite, but it was a shame that the pesto sauce simply did not work with the wings. Yes, Sonnet’s delivers on its “loud food”, but needs to be tuned up just slightly to really rock. The service was solid and the ambience was cool, but it feels a bit unfinished. Sonnet’s is almost perfect, it knows what it wants to be and can get there by polishing a few rough edges. I will be back soon, because it has potential to be a local gem in Wadsworth.

I barely do reviews but this place deserves one. The new menu since reopening is absolutely fantastic. The food is so good and comes out extremely hot for carry out when needed. Lucky to have a small local restaurant like this against all the chains in Wadsworth.

I’m giving 5 stars as to not hurt a small business but really it was more like a 3.5. We walked in never having been there before and were barely greeted, the guy just said “chalkboard menu is there” nothing else like – sit anywhere you like , welcome etc.
everything on the menu sounded really good and creative which is great! I ordered the short rib goulash, it was served slapped in a paper dish you would get a corn dog in and did not look that appetizing (although it ended up being pretty good) . By the end of eating it the paper dish was peeling up on the bottom – you need to get real plates ! The ambience left a little to be desired, gray walls and industrial vibe of 2010’s, missed opportunity to do a very cozy vibe, vintage yellows and oranges, greens etc. overall the service did end up being good, and the food was good. We will be back but please hang up some artwork and get real plates .

I’ve been coming here every other week or so for about 6 months now. I came at random on a work lunch break and have been coming back ever since. The head waitress is just wonderful. She makes you feel like part of the family! She’s been predicting my drink order since my first visit too.

The food is fabulous. I think today is the day I’ve now had everything on their regular menu. I haven’t had a bad thing yet, and everything is made to order. The coffee is fresh, on demand if they need to make it that way, and they are happy to do so.

The whiskey selection here is mind-blowing, albeit much too expensive for Wadsworth OH. That’s probably my only demerit on the whole place. They carry everything from the very popular and hard to find, all the way to insanely rare. I need to stop coming at lunch so I can sample more of it!

I have lived in Wadsworth for awhile and I’ve been to Sonnett’s before the renovations, but tonight I made my inaugural visit to the new and improved establishment.

I didn’t really have any expectations but if I did they would have been greatly exceeded. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and my partner ordered The Bleu Tip.

The Korean Fried Chicken was damn near perfect. It was fresh but fried, and sweet, yet savory. So many perfect intersections of flavor. Everything worked great together. If I had any suggestion, it would be to offer it on a bao bun if possible.

The Bleu Tip was also great! It was exactly what you would think. A savory, cheesy heaven.

Honorable mention to the signature fries! They also had a nice selection of sodas and such. The rest of the menu sounds super interesting. Please do yourself a favor and support this local gem. It’s not “good for a small town”. It’s just plan good!

Top notch establishment for local music and a wide variety of drinks to choose from. There’s an open mic night on Wednesday and live planned music both Friday and Saturday. Owner is friendly and helpful, bar staff is knowledgeable about their offerings. Nice hometown place, right downtown.

Haven’t tried food yet. Looks good in pics. First ever coffeeshop + whiskey bar I have seen. I just got the Hawaii coffee, straight, black, from vacuum thermos. Bottom less cup = $3.25. Day old muffin was calling my name too.

Service is always great along with the brunch options. I always go with the fried egg po’boy and add ham. Perfect breakfast sandwich in my opinion. Wife either goes with the hash or the Croque Madame.
