I ordered a redeemed menu deal item of a pretzel hamburger. (I was excited to try it.) A chili dog and tater tots. Disappointing—all of my food was cold. The chile dog bun was nearly hard as a rock. And my pretzel bun was not a pretzel at all. I will admit it’s my fault for not checking the bag before leaving. It should have been a clear hint I was waiting so long because they marked my bag with a DoorDash sticker; possibly they were waiting for someone else? Or some other queue? They eventually brought it after 45 minutes or more, I should have questioned it after she mentioned the door dash thing. None the less, this experience and food was poor.

Okay the place was very very nice, honestly the best looking sonic because of the decor outside but this place really disappointed me when it came to the food, I ordered my food and the service was really slow. My house is right around the corner so it only took about 5-10 minutes to get to it and when I opened the bag of food it was obvious they just threw the food in there and I honestly don’t consider what they gave me “fries” because they were very hard! All of them were super overcooked! I honestly don’t recommend this location, other sonics are better quality.

I ordered a number 14 with well done tater tots. Burrito is dry… no cheese and it sucks. Tater tots under cooked. You know that causes gastrointestinal issues right? To serve undercooked fried foods? Plus no one listens to the order. Well done tater tots. Why cant you fully listen and take the time to get the food done right. Sonic has gone down hill. It wont be a suprise when it crashes ans burns.

Food took so long to make. I only have 30mins for lunch took them 15-20mins to make a burger. Than I was watching them make it and seen they did not use gloves to handle food, digging in the cheese and putting it on my burger and everything else.
I got charged $25 for someone else order and the had to do a refund. I told them I want a refund on my order($14) because They didnt use gloves to handle my food. What a mess!!

This location is awful with customer service. If you do not like your job then please do us all a favor and leave because we as customers are sick of your attitudes. We are what makes your paycheck. We come to eat out because we do not wanna cook for once. And to deal with the staffs shitty attitude is unnecessary. This is the 3rd time I’ve encountered your shitty attitudes.

Typically we use the app to order food, especially later at night. This place could be completely barren in terms of customers and we still wait 30-45 minutes past pick up time. Tonight, we checked into a stall, waited twenty minutes, and after calling in to see what was happening, we were informed that the stalls were closed and had to then go wait in the drive through, and this was AFTER waiting at the drive through and getting no response.
Multiple times we have had to call in asking what happened to our order, only for it to come out a few minutes later cold as if it had been sitting there since it had been ordered.
Truthfully, I don’t know if its a staffing issue or what the case may be, but this is insane. It would be one thing if there was communication, but when a place is completely dead and theres nothing but radio silence for 15+ minutes followed by cold food, it makes it incredibly difficult to want to return.
Reading the reviews shows me that we obviously are not the first with this issue, and unfortunately, unless someone figures it out, we wont be the last.
What a shame that the newest sonic in SW ABQ is easily the worst one in the entire city.

If I could, this place would be a negative 10. Waited a whole hour in the stall to be waited on. Mind you it wasn’t even busy. Then drove thru the drive thru, advised I did an online order. Drove up to the window, female was about to give me someone else’s order. I said my name, she couldn’t hear me over the loud music coming from inside the restaurant. She was rude after I had to yell my name again. This place needs better management & better workers.

WARNING! A relative ordered this sandwich at 11:45 approximately. It came out almost 20 minutes later and this is what she’s just eaten! I’m glad she saw it before she swallowed any more but this is unacceptable, especially for a new location. THIS PLACE WILL GIVE YOU FOOD POISONING. SHUT IT DOWN IMMEDIATELY!

Anica (staff member) was very rude and the girl wouldn’t stop rolling her eyes. I asked for 1 more sauce and Anica got even more rude and snobby. Food was cold as well. I watched her touch my food with NO GLOVES. Do better.
