If there’s one restaurant I absolutely do not recommend, it’s Sonic Drive-In.

If you’re looking for good service, respectful treatment, and decent food — this is not the place. One star.

You might get a polite smile at first, but don’t be surprised if you end up waiting 10 minutes with no updates and no attention. And if you try to ask about your order, be prepared to be ignored again. A smile means nothing if there’s no actual service behind it.

If you’re running a service business, you need to actually provide service. Experiences like this make customers never want to come back. There’s no sense of care, no urgency, no feeling that you matter as a guest.

Some places honestly shouldn’t stay open if this is the level of service they provide. When you compare it to places like Chick-fil-A — where employees consistently smile, try to help, and make you feel welcome — the difference is obvious. There, you feel like a valued customer. At Sonic, you feel invisible.

This is not the place where you’ll receive anything extraordinary — unless you count a fake smile and wasted time.

I just wanna say that I am never disappointed when I come to the sonic on 48st and Baseline. Everyone is always super friendly, in a great mood and my order is always on point. Love coming to this spot anytime of day is a great time.

I tried placing the order none of the speakers, ordering speakers work drive-through speaker didn’t work employee could not hear me whatsoever had to re-park for the third time to have somebody come out to write down my order. I will not be back at this location. Very uncomfortable ordering having to remember what I ordered from the last 2 screens to not being able to complete and order because parking available to me was not set with menu it was set with pick up advertising ….after leaving the parking lot and went up the street I had missing item after giving my order to a person directly I called for a manager. Or supervisor and employee of neither came out I said I would like to get a refund for home bad my inconvenience has been I got a part refund gave all the food back lady through all the food a gave her in the trash I told her where is your lead I need to speak to your Lead now the person I was asking for the whole time finally came out I told him what was going on and he walked away and said GOODBYE I WOULDN’T SPEND ANOTHER CENT AT THIS PLACE

The chicken stripes I received were very old and hard. They were inedible. This isn’t the first time I have gotten gross food from this Sonic. I think I’m just done go to this sonic for good. I contacted customer service and they said they can send me a coupon if I download the app for a free popcorn chicken. Would not give me a refund or a coupon for the same value of the meal I purchased.

I have never left a review before but this was a particularly terrible experience. I still wouldn’t have left a review, but I just got a targeted ad for sonic on Instagram, and that just felt too rude. I ordered a double cheese burger without onion, a mini milkshake, and a sprite without ice. After sitting in the drive through for 15 minutes, someone finally comes out with my order. I asked to confirm that there were no onions on the burger. The employee stated that it doesn’t come with onion, despite there being onion in the picture on the drive through menu. Also, there are no mobile card readers, so the employee has to come outside with my food, confirm that I’m the one who ordered it, then take my card, and the entire order, back inside again before finally coming back out. Sure enough, when I got home, every single element of my order was wrong: the burger had onion, the drink had ice, and the milkshake was the wrong size. I don’t expect anything to change but screaming into the void of the internet feels cathartic.

Beware the moldy bread and slow service! Typically, I’m a Sonic fan, but not this time, so I felt compelled to write a review. Decided to get a rare breakfast out on my way to work yedterday and the drive-thru line looked fast here. Well, it took 15 minutes to get my small order, but that wasn’t the worst part – my sandwhich tasted a bit off and a glance at the pic will tell you why…yes, the bread was moldy…good times…

I immediately stopped eating and called the store because I didn’t want anyone else to have the same issue. Phone rang way too long and then asked for my password (?). I then called corporate, someone took my feedback, said I’d get a call from the store manager, and…nothing. Pretty typical these days, unfortunately. I’m not even looking for a refund, just someone at the location to acknowledge the issue, apologize, and vow to keep a better eye on things. Since that didn’t happen, I figured I’d try a public shaming instead.

Please be more diligent, Sonic! As it is, I’m definitely not returning to this location.

Ordered a BLT w extra lettuce, and got the worst BLT toaster I’ve ever had. Was super dry taste bland. Bacon was so hard I almost broke a tooth. My granddaughter got popcorn chicken, literally think it was just fried batter, didn’t see any chicken. Would have given them 1 star, but drinks were good… Don’t bother ordering food, just go for the drinks & treats…

I had a very good experience the staff was super nice and the food was hot and fresh the nice lady at drive thru recommend me nerds in my slush (best choice ever) these employees work way to hard and deserve a much higher pay.
