The service was terrible and the food we received was poor the burgers were greasy and put together sloppily and the large onion ring we ordered only had 6 rings in it.

Where do I start, this place is hands down the worst fast food restaurant in La Junta. No matter the time of the day you will run into multiple issues. Orders are never correct, and if you order anything that comes with condiments (ranch, ect) you can fully expect not to get them unless you ask, so make sure to ask before you take off. Burgers are always old and stale, fries cold, I’m not sure what it is but ordering a burger here is like an anomaly for them. Such a shame because sonic offers great food, but if you like sonic just keep driving west to rocky ford or Pueblo to get sonic. This place is better off closed.

Honestly this place usually gets a 4 star most. But today was worst ever seen. We literally ordered 2 of the snowball slushy floats, have not had a problem beforehand getting it. Today order them, charged price for them it’s on the receipt, but instead get home and wondered why had a lot of ice cream in it. Poured it into a bowl and literally nothing but all ice cream and a spoonfull of strawberries at the bottom of the cup. No crystals on top, no slushy mix at all. Just literally a cup full of ice cream and a spoonfull of diced strawberries nothing else. It’s like no one knew how to make what’s on the menu at all.

Alright, so with sonic I have the worst luck of constantly going to find out that either they’re out of ice cream or the milkshake machine is down… I go entirely for the milkshakes but a good 1/3 of the time they’re not working. Now while the restaurant itself has a decent sized menu with detailed and seemingly delicious food, the actuality of the individual stores are rather different. For one the service is spotty. Last time I went, I had to ask for my change back 3 times. I had paid 40, 2 twenty’s, and the change was supposed to be 12.56. I was brought 2dollars. So I asked for my change and was brought the 56cents. So I asked again and finally got the entirety of my change. I still ended up leaving the 2.56tip I was intending originally cause clearly the server was really hard up to be so desperate as I bet money she did it intentionally but watch out for the location in la junta as I e of the servers is horrible about trying to snag change for her tips.

Waited 35 minutes and pressed the red button again to see if they still were coming w my order. No apology just, “What did you order?” The lady took my order again. I asked how long because I need to pick up my daughter from school and already waited over 30 minutes. She just quickly said $8 35 and went away. I said wait that’s different than my original order total… but she was gone. So I drove off. This is my second bad experience there so… never again. The one in Rocky Ford far exceeds La Junta. I’ll just go there from now on.
