Four Green Fields on the Riverwalk feels like one of those local gems that’s quietly gotten even better under its new ownership. After chatting with the staff, it’s clear the change happened earlier this year—and the difference is noticeable in all the best ways. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming and lively, and the bartenders were fantastic. The apps are so great!!! You can’t beat the amazing location right on the Riverwalk near Curtis Hixon Park—perfect for enjoying drinks to go while taking in the scenery. A lovely spot with great energy that’s clearly been refreshed and elevated. Highly recommend stopping by!

Without doubt, this is my boyfriend’s and I absolute favorite bar to go to. The staff, food, and entire atmosphere is always amazing any day of the week. They treat us like family, and we will happily spend our whole Friday and Saturday nights here. The live music on Saturday is also such a warm and inviting feeling to all who come. We love to take all of our friends here as our go to bar, and everyone always leaves so happy.

If you have not been here yet, it needs to be an absolute must on your Tampa list! We love Four Green Fields Riverwalk!

Not a bad place when you find yourself at the Curtis Hixon park and you get thirsty. Guinness was well tapped and the fried pickles were plentiful, well covered in batter, and not too vinegary. The place is quite big in the inside with a domineering bar.

Strolling thru downtown Tampa, I was thrilled to see an Irish thatched roof style pub! Even the name Four Green Fields happened to be one of my favorite ballads, sung by the legendary Tommy Makem. Once inside, I settled down to some Guinness and a game of darts. The atmosphere was just right. They offer great pub fare and Irish music evenings. Most highly recommended!

This Irish Pub is in the perfect area near Riverwalk. After we finished the Beer Bourbon and BBQ festival next door at Curtis Hixon Park we went to Four Green Fields for some air conditioning, cold drinks and USA hockey. My orange Jameson mixed drinks drink was sweet and refreshing, exact what I needed after being in the sun for the last 4+ hours. I enjoyed the vibe and ambience at this pub and would definitely return!

Dropped in for a drink as we were walking the riverwalk – the bar has come a long way in the past few month. The wings are great, much better layout, and the manger/bartenders were all super nice.

10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for a fun pub in Tampa

I have been visiting this location for several years and can easily say this is one of my favorite pubs to patron. The food is always fresh and well-prepared. The kitchen staff often come out and ask how the food was and if it was to your liking. The bar staff always make the extra effort to ensure you feel like one of the regulars, even if you’re just stopping in for a pint while strolling the Riverwalk for the first time. They clearly take pride in making sure everyone is welcomed, chat with anyone who cares to, and always has an eye on the comings and goings to ensure that you don’t just eat and drink well, but that you feel safe and part of the family there. Hannah, Ali, and Liam have all been there for quite a while, and are three of the kindest and best bar tenders you’ll find anywhere. And the newer folks all work hard to keep up with them. Recent improvements to the space, including the added lighting, additional dart board, expanded community table area, and tv screens have only added to the traditional Irish pub atmosphere that has long been cultivated. If you are anywhere near Curtis Hixon Park, this is a must-stop location.

Four Green Fields (both locations) are two of my favorite places in all of downtown Tampa. The staff is second to none. They are always extremely attentive and courteous, but never pushy. A great balance. All the food I have had has been top notch. I have seen some of the staff out and about and they are the same away as they are in the pub. I do have one complaint: I enjoy going there so much that I do not try new places enough.

Wasn’t super busy, unfortunately only one guy working, which he was great. One table took all his time and sent back food, I do believe I got the food that was sent back. My wings were overcooked cooked and not good at all. My child’s food was great. Another thing that really bothered me was this family came in with two huge dogs. This is a restaurant, they have outside sitting but they were never told to go outside or that you can’t have dogs on restaurants. Not all people like dogs, especially really hairy ones around me while I eat. The last time we came it was great! The food was delicious, this time not so much. We will try again another day.

We have been eating at four Greenfields for years! We love the music and the venue! They’ve always had fabulous fish and chips! The fish always came in a very tender tempura batter. I took my friend there today and was bragging about the fish and chips until we got it. It appeared that it was clearly burnt. The server told us that it’s not burnt, This is how their new batter looks. We were disappointed, so we could only pick the tender fish out from the hard shell. And it comes only with one piece of fish.
Please go back to using the tempura batter!!
