We’ve been here almost 10 minutes and no one has answered on the order screen. I don’t expect anyhing to be done about it. Per a significant amount of prior reviews, this is common and acceptable by Sonic. Every review says call a number if you have an issue. Maybe these reviews should be taken seriously instead. Why should I waste more time after this foolishness to tell someone who is very well aware of the issue by now, what they already know?

Exceptional Service & Great Food!

​I highly recommend the Sonic Drive-In.

The food was great, and the cashier truly went above and beyond.

I thought they accidentally put mustard on my burger (I really dislike mustard), so I drove back through. Even though she was really busy, she came out personally to speak with me and was incredibly kind. After I showed her the sauce, she assured me it was their special sauce.

I just had the absolute worst service I’ve ever received at Sonic before. My son wanted dinner here, so we pulled into stall #17 around 6:40 p.m. I ordered a kids meal for him and a small ice cream. The touch screen was broken in that stall, so it would not let me pay with card. I assumed the staff would run out for payment and just process the card manually at that time.

We waited almost a half an hour with no communication and the order screen rather than showing our order had been placed, was in the kitchen, OR on its way out to us was now blank as though we had never ordered. Several other people had pulled into stalls near us after we ordered, they received their food, and left. I am a very patient person, but at this point, I decided to pull into the drive-thru for further assistance. It was 7:07 p.m.

When she answered the intercom, I explained to her that I was just at stall 17 and the….. Before I could even finish my sentence, she cut me off and said they were very short staffed, there’s only two of them working tonight, and her ice cream ran out. She just refilled the ice cream and is trying to catch back up.

I began again and said, that wasn’t what I was going to say. I wanted to make sure you guys were aware that the touch screen was not working and I was not able to make payment with a card. I was curious as well what the update was because I hadn’t heard from anyone and the screen went back to the start of placing a new order. She repeated the fact that they were short staffed, only two people working, and the ice cream situation. I told her I am well aware after she explained it the first time, but I felt as though she could have communicated that was an issue. I didn’t have a problem waiting, but I was frustrated with not knowing what was going on and watching others receive their order long after we placed ours. Having the ice cream run out makes sense as to why others were receiving orders after we placed ours, but having a heads up would have been nice.

Again she cut me off and raised her voice, this time, talking over me and telling me that they have been slammed for the past 30 minutes and she doesn’t have time to come out and tell each person what’s going on. I told her that I was aware they are short-staffed, and I’m understanding, but that it is bad customer service to not communicate a thing to people who have been waiting for almost a half an hour. It seemed as though they completely forgot about my order and left me sitting there in the dark. She started talking over me again and raising her voice even more. At this point, I stopped her and let her know they had lost our business and we would no longer be a patron because of the lack of customer service. She continue with a snotty remark as I left, something about well that’s fine, you can just go then…. Blah blah blah. I didn’t stick around to listen to anything else she had to say.

I tend to give people a lot more grace and understanding, because it’s what I would want if I were in their shoes. That said, I would never treat people that way if they asked me what was going on. I would completely own the situation and apologize. I wouldn’t be disrespectful, make excuses for myself, and act like the customer was the problem here. That’s exactly what I received from this employee. She might have been having a bad day, and clearly was having a rough night at work, but that is no excuse to treat people that way. We will not be back to this location ever again.

This Sonic location is conveniently located just across the roundabout from Walmart Supercenter and various other stores nearby. The restroom has an outside entrance and has always been kept clean. The service is quick and staff are very friendly, not hesitant to hook it up when you ask for something! The food always arrives hot and is delicious!

Haven’t been here in a year or so so I decided to stop by for lunch. Much to my delight food was amazing! Onion rings were crispy not greasy and my burger was made as I requested. Thank you Sonic crew who made this meal delicious.

Good customer service and a solid overall experience. Sonic can get busy at times, but the staff here stay patient and do their best to make sure orders are handled correctly. Being clear with your order helps everything run smoothly, and the team works hard to keep things moving. Reliable spot and a well-run business.

Their french fries are so good on their own, they don’t need a condiment. (That’s good, because in your car there’s really no place to squeeze their little packets onto. They need Whataburger or Chick-Fil-A style ketchup.) My footlong chili cheese dog was quite tasty. The woman who brought our order was genuinely friendly, asked if we needed anything else, and promptly brought what we asked for. So what’s not to like? The whole idea of eating in your car, for one thing. Tiny stalls that, if you’re close enough to order from the kiosk, totally prevent you from opening your door. And speaking of kiosks, most of the ones I personally observed had broken video and/or broken audio. Sonic, if this is gonna be your business, you MUST keep those kiosks in good condition!

I love Sonic but I always dread coming to this one. It is always SO slow. Even if all you order is drinks it still takes foreverrrrr. They’ve removed probably 75% of their stall ordering screens, so most people were in the drive thru to order. That’s like the whole fun part of Sonic, the drive-in aspect. Food is standard for a Sonic.

We have been consistently disappointed by this Sonic location. We used to go to Sonic as a fun date splurge before we moved to Loveland and we are finally done giving this location chances.

The food is not warmed consistently, the staff is not friendly, and most recently, my wife’s slush had separated syrup with some ice on top. The slush was so wet that my limeade had more structure to it. By the time we got home, all the ice had melted and she said she felt like she was drinking just syrup…she ended up tossing it.

I dont understand how one location can be so much worse than others but from now on, when we want Sonic, we’ll drive twice as far for a better one.

This place is incredibly slow, and the lady working the drive through rushes us like crazy. we say one thing and she cuts us off mid sentence to say “is that it” and she says that after everything we order. we keep getting our orders wrong because she feels the need to cut us off before we are done ordering, therefore she misses half of what we say and doesn’t get it on the order. food isn’t even that great. and there is no reason for us to be rushed to order, it’s not like we take more than 2 minutes. overall, this place is very ignorant and rude and not worth the price.
