I don’t know if this is the worst Sonic in Texas, but their customer service SUCKED, and the food was overcooked. I got practically burnt chicken tenders and when I took it back they replaced it in about 1 minute. Clearly they searched their basket of overcooked chicken for the less overcooked pieces and the literally tore one in half to see how cooked it was and gave me those as their response to corrsct the situation. How stupid do they think people are? Had the manager come out when I askes to speak to someone and askes to simply get a refund on the chicken that I did not even eat that someone tore in half. He said “I can’t give a refund for that.” I askes how that can be and his reaponse was “I have to issue a reason in the computer and there’s nothing wrong with this. We have to cut open each batch of chicken to ensure it’s not pink inside.” I said there is, I can taste the dirty oil and it’s overcooked, or maybe you just have the temperTure too high. The chicken inside was not too bad inside, but the breading was cooked to a rock. I left without chicken or a refund and said I would call corporate and let them know my opinion, to which he said, “that’s fine it all goes to my phone, so whatever you want to do.” He did offer to.make something else, but said he was not putting a problem in the computer. We had no more time.to waste on this if I needed to find somewhere else to eat and we left it at that! I know they like to.excuse away these reviews, but any other comment from them is not accurate, period. But that’s just a customer’s opinion.

I used to love this sonic so much, but it has turned to the most horrific place to eat in Luling. That ice cream is very disgusting With a yellow tint and old dirty flavor, the food is always coming out cold and never fresh And just to order my food, it takes about 30 minutes and I have to drive to 3 to 4 different stalls Just for somebody to actually answer and take my order the manager is also very rude and unclean. I will never ever be coming back to this sonic if I could give this place a zero star I would I would recommend for nobody to eat here and for this sonic to just get shut down. It’s not worth the time or money.

Food was dry and burnt , hopper who brought our food lied and said everything was in the bag when it wasn’t waving our request off. I went to 3 different stalls before some one would answer me on the intercom. And i paid for a medium sonic blast and was given a shake with all ingredients blended to mush. I was given some thing I didn’t order that cost less then was I paid for all because the blast mixer was broken . I don’t believe it was cause the car next to us got ice cream blast but we couldn’t? It was horrible and I’m calling corporate.

I come to this Sonic often, but tonight required a 5-star review because of the wonderful service I just received. I took a little drive to get my baby down, and had the sleepy music on. When the young man came out with my mobile order, he read the cues and he whispered anything he needed to say and was beyond polite and respectful to the sleeping baby. This is truly such a kind act and had to be acknowledged. I didn’t catch his name, but I am truly grateful.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at sonic. They didn’t take my order. I waited in two different stalls and they only spoke to me Once. I kept pushing the button they kept deactivating it. It was horrible. They were rude. Completely ignored me. other people came in after me and then they left before me. Obviously, I never got any food. I never got any service. I never got any help. It was terrible. I would not recommend it.

WOW!! I’ve never left a review in my life, but after this visit I had to. 1st, my order was fresh, hot and the fries were perfect! crispy and salty. 2nd, the manager Sean came out to personally check back with me and asked if I needed anything else. He gave me some extra sauces I wanted and a few extra mints and I watched as he did the same with every other customer on the lot. I was here awhile since I ate in the lot and 15 minutes after he went back in, another worker this time wearing a red shirt came out and checked with everyone again. I’ve eaten at many Sonic’s, and never seen that kind of treatment towards customers before. You can tell they truly care about the customers and the workers all seemed to enjoy what they were doing instead of moving around like mindless robots. When I was finished, I ordered a kids chicken strip meal to bring home for my son. Sean let me know that the chicken was going to be made fresh so it would be a slightly longer wait. I didn’t mind at all. I will definitely be back here more often now! I stopped coming last September after numerous bad experiences but I’ve heard good things from friends and family as of recently. Glad I gave it a shot. You guys rock and keep thumpin!

Food is decent when you can get the kiosks to work. Tried 3 different times on 3 different stalls and never got my order taken. This is after the new upgraded stalls that are supposed to be easier for us. 4 stalls had cones which is the normal here. Disappointed.

I am writing to report a recurring issue at your luling Sonic. I frequently purchase cups of ice from this location, but I am often told by staff that they “don’t have enough ice” and cannot serve me—even late at night when the store is about to close and will not reopen until the following morning.
On September 12, 2025, at 11:15 PM, I ordered two cups of ice and was again refused service for this reason. This has happened several times before. However, if I place the order through the Sonic app, the system accepts my payment and the order is fulfilled—so it seems the issue occurs only when ordering through the red button.
As a paying customer, this is frustrating and disappointing. I should not be denied a simple, paid-for item that is regularly offered on your menu. If the ice machine is not sufficient to meet customer demand, perhaps the equipment needs to be evaluated or replaced.
I ask that this issue be addressed so customers can consistently purchase items, including ice, without being refused.

This has happened on several occasions.
I like to buy ice bags. I order the ice WHICH IS ON THE MENU, an they seem to not be able to sell ice for whatever reason… but most nights I have no problem getting it from them. Well today they refused and allowed me to only get ONE CUP. TAKE IT OFF THE DAMN MENU IF YOU DONT WANT TO SELL IT.. I finally asked the car hop who the manager on shift was right now and they were hesitant to tell me, but did. Whoever Geneva or however you spell it.. that is just ridiculous … I didn’t care the first few times, I just took it as is…. but come on that’s just ridiculous and lazy. Zero recommendation….
