This has been one of the most consistently clean Sonic Drive-In I’ve been to. The food is usually prepared as ordered and the drinks are typically also made well. The only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars for food and service is because of the issues when you do customize any food or drink order. Want extra pickles, nope they leave that out. Would you like honey mustard, better check the bag before you drive off. If they could give a little more attention to detail and make sure customer requests on food items were paid attention to, then this place would be perfect, in my opinion.

This is the only Sonic in and around CL that is staffed with people who don’t hate their lives and customer service. This Sonic gives me hope, the best ice cream, and a will to live. They don’t close early. They don’t act like you’re asking for a kidney when you’re just asking for happy chemicals for your brain in the form of frozen joy. I love this Sonic. The other Bay Area location…. I’d rather eat glass and spend the day at the DMV or listening to slam poetry.

Spent $55 there tonight . The night shift took my order with an attitude they racial profiled me. I order chicken strips and still had to pay for bbq that I thought was suppose to come with the meal. Never going back to a place that goes of the color of your skin is what type of service you get. I didn’t mind paying for the sauce but the staff were very horrible towards me!!! I’ll go spend my hard earned money elsewhere!!!

Placed 2 orders of mozzarella sticks, and zero marinara sauce is in the bag. Let them know and they told me it doesn’t come with ANY anymore and charge per each sauce.

Food is decent at this location but a few things to keep in mind, 1. The drinks are not always good and sometimes very watery like their syrup is running low 2. If you want extra marinara, order your meal on the app, they don’t charge you for extra sauces on the app but for some reason when you order at a stall, they charge a full extra dollar and 3. I’ve ordered a cherry limeade with extra real cherries 4 times over a period of a few weeks and not once did I get extra cherries. In fact, the standard is to put at least two in there (some places will throw in a third which is always nice) and I can’t even get two in my drink, let alone the extra THAT I PAID FOR. Extra means 4-6 not 1 or none.

Looks like I have to drop the review now. It’s not like you go here for high quality food, but you do expect to get the amount that you pay for.
After I was given these underfilled blasts, I pointed out to the staff these were lacking. She refuted and said this was normal and that I must be thinking of something else.
Having gone here for years basically ordering the same items, I know what is normally delivered and I wasn’t getting anywhere in my discussion with her.
I guess I will now be no longer going to this sonic.

Sonic Drive-In is such a fun place to grab a bite! I love the drive-in style, and the food is always fresh and delicious. The burgers, tots, and slushes are my go-to — especially on a hot day. The staff is friendly, and the service is usually quick. It’s a great spot to chill and enjoy some classic fast food!

Ordered a hot fudge sundae,,no hot fudge. Just ice cream with cherry on top. Also they do not have peanuts for the topping. Also again the speaker phone mike doesn’t work properly.
