Breaking down the shake machine an hour before close? Or just don’t want to make the ice cream? Either way, be better you guys.
I have been to this location many times, and I know they have a hard time hearing because there is highway traffic right next to them. I was placing my order, I was speaking loudly, however she stated that she was having a hard time hearing me, and she apologized for that, so I stated my order again, I told her it looked good, but as the order on the screen disappeared I saw it was a chicken wrap and not the large premium chicken bites I had ordered, I pushed the red button again, same person came on, I explained that I did not want a chicken wrap, I wanted a large premium chicken bite, and I apologized (because I had mis-read the order the first time and had to call back.) since she wasn’t understanding, I said popcorn chicken, she repeated popcorn chicken, I said yes and when the order popped up it was a medium popcorn chicken and I had said a large, so I pressed the red button again and someone else answered, I said “I’m sorry, but it should be a large popcorn chicken and not a medium” this lady says, very loud and hateful, “she was not the one that took my order, but you have an attitude! And I don’t have to serve you!” I said, “I apologized to begin with” she cut me off and said, “well I didn’t here it!” I said, “I do not have An attitude, you have the attitude!” By now I am getting an attitude, she says, Ma’am I am not going to serve you, I don’t have too! You can go on and drive off now! By then I was pissed and drove off.
So apparently they felt like I had an attitude but could not hear me apologize the two times that I did ! And old not hear my order’
I am about to drop $20 plus on 2 entrees, plus a tip, because I always tip at sonic and everywhere else!
I wish I had asked for their names!!! I did not.
As I stated before, I have been to this location multiple times, I have had them come out to my car, and take my order because they could not her me or I plus not hear them, and maybe that is what the First Lady should have done, when she stated she could not hear me and huffed and puffed! They did not sound like teenagers, regardless, I pray that they find better work ethics, or a different job!! ( I have had better treatment from teenagers!)
I know my voice is raspy and sometimes I come across as loud, as I have throat issues, but to assume I had a bad attitude without even laying eyes on me is a grave misjudgment of character, and I feel very sorry for them that they hate their job that bad.
I will Not be returning to that location anytime soon!
However, the app is pointless. Anytime I order it almost always says 5 min or less eta. I sat here for 20 mins and watched every vehicle that pulled up and drive thru get serviced before me, tell me again what the point of ordering in the app is again. Especially since sonic took away the 1/2 price automatic drink perk and the ability to stack deals.
