I waited 15 minutes past the stated pickup time. I had checked in with the stall immediately on arrival and had visual confirmation that my order was checked in for that stall. After waiting so long, I finally had to get out and wave down a server, she was clearly stressed and overloaded but trying to be polite. She said someone would check. A few minutes later a 2nd server delivered the food with an attitude saying that I wasn’t checked in and offered no path to remedy the situation. I would have take a simple apology that they are having system issues. I got attitude, which implies they either don’t care about the problem, the customer waiting, or what that extra 15min waiting past the stated pickup time might have cost others down stream – Which it nearly did.

Sonic needs to have better pick-up processing, this issue shouldn’t be possible. They need servers who aren’t being put under such terrible stressful conditions. I give them the benefit of doubt here that it’s Sonic who isn’t giving them what they need on multiple levels for this situation to be handled this badly. I sympathize for anyone feeling stuck there.

I will never order Sonic again from this or any location. There are too many better options than to deal with their clearly broken corporate ethos.

I have been eating at this Sonic since I moved to Richardson over 18 years ago. Besides some cosmetic changes to keep the place “fresh” the food has remained the same. Phenomenal! And it is just so CLEAN!

The servers are genuine and make certain you have all the condiments and things you need. And if you like your tray in the car and make a big mess, just push the red button and someone will skittle out to pick it up for you.
Make certain to sign up for all the great offers and be sure and use a Sonic Card when paying. Free burgers, text alerts, you name it!

Yesterdays feast was just so good! Large onion rings! Giant cheese-burger and a large DIET coke with watermelon flavor. Mmmmmmmm good eating!

Imagine waiting until 9am for Sonic to be open, pulling up to the drive thru kiosk, hitting the red button and waiting for 5 minutes without even an acknowledgement … and there are no other cars in the stalls …
Visiting from out of town, every other Sonic I have been thru, someone acknowledges you, even when they’re busy. I left and went to Whataburger.

Came to sonic and as I have 100 time I ordered a water with strawberry’s, got to the screen and pressed the button to ask them to make my drink with sparkling water (because this is not a option on the app) normally this is a fairly painless process and they make the drink with sparkling water, as it’s literally just water. But when I clicked the button at this sonic and told the lady I had an order before I could politely ask anything I was barked at and told my order was on the way. After I was given the chance to speak I asked, as I have hundreds of times, if I could have my drink with sparkling water and I was told no, that’s a completely different thing then water, I asked if they can just make it sparking instead of still I was told no again, and you have to do that on the app, when I reminded the worker that isn’t a option on the app she ended the chat over the system and just brought my water out with no solution to my problem. I’m truly at a loss on why this turned into be being attacked for something I’ve done many many times. I hope this doesn’t happen again but I’ll definitely be trying to avoid this sonic.

Ordered a burger that was supposed to come with Pickles, and I also ordered a side of pickles which they charge you for now! Needless to say they didn’t put pickles in my burger so I got charged for pickles that they were supposed to put on my burger to begin with! I’m sick of these places nickeling and diming us for every little thing! A 10-dollar hamburger does not leave a good taste in my mouth

Wish i could leave a zero. Only ordered 2 combos and got the whole order wrong. Wanted 2 coneys with drinks and that was to much for them. I blame the parents. Kids just dont know how dumb they are!!!!!!!!

We came 20 minutes till close and got a few milkshakes. They were so nice and even though they made a mistake the manager was extremely professional and kind. They took good care of us and made it right!

Don’t do mobile orders here.

Placed a mobile app. Two drinks and one chicken strip wrap. After 20 minutes waiting they said it might be another 10 minutes wait but they really didn’t know. The staff was just walking in circles inside clearly not managed. Just spinning in circles. They said they could not cancel the order and told me I had to call a 1800 number to get my payment back. I asked for my receipt and written documentstion that they did not fulfill the order. They brought me a receipt that they wadded up and retrieved from the trash!

THEN the online complaint resolution said they could not refund my account because they couldn’t read the receipt…the one damaged by their staff…the one attached for the public to see. Outrageous!

Sad to see this American icon of a restaurant chain go down the toilet.

I absolutely love this location! The staff and management, I believe his name is Steven, are beyond customer oriented and friendly! My food is always fresh and my daughter loves how her grilled cheese sandwich is always hot and perfectly cheesy! THANK YOU STEVEN AND STAFF!
