I had a 99c breakfast burrito coupon and after I pulled up to the window and handed it to her she goes “oh I’d have to re-ring this in” to which I kind of nodded. The lady then informed me to next time let them know at the speaker box she shut the window and yelled to someone in a pissed tone, “AH, I NOW HAVE TO RE-RING THIS WHOLE ORDER IN BECAUSE OF THIS GUY.” I had only ordered a sausage burrito and a meat and cheese burrito. It makes me not want to go again but my food was good.

We ordered 3 foot long chilli dogs, chilli cheese fries and tots. Didn’t receive the tots and 2 out of 3 dogs were WAY over done. Sad sad sad. Is it so hard to see how bad food is before you serve it???

My son went to the Sonic located on East Central in Wichita Kansas located between Edgemoor & Oliver. I was on the phone with my son as he was ordering because he wanted to make sure he got the order correct. However the person taking the order was very inpatient after everything he said it was us that all being s person whom has over 20 years in customer service the employee was very unprofessional. So once my son got home with our food both burger of the cheese burger combo meals was burnt my grandson had wanted onion rings with his meal instead he got tatar tots. We also ordered mozzarella sticks & the was nasty not fresh at all. The complete experience makes you want to not go to sonic but even more so when I called to talk to the manager she was very defensive about the order stating he did didn’t order things that was clearly wrong with the order but when I informed her I was on the phone with him while placing the order her tone in her voice changed. I contine to try to support this establishment which has become far & few in between due to the lack of customer service. The person didn’t d offer to send out cards to my home which is ok but when you go to an establishment spending your hard earned money you would like to get your order prepared the way you ask or attempted to order it. I love Sonic. I worked at a Sonic and remembered how fast and friendly they strived to be. At this Sonic however, I’ve always had something wrong with my order or a ridiculous wait time.

Update 2022
Prior to this time, I last ate there a year ago. I decided to give them another chance. Everything went great. The friendly girl on the speaker took my order. My drink was correct and my food came out quick. I get home and find my grilled onions are flat out burnt. ☹ I like my onions toasty brown but this was black.

Not sure what Sonic is doing to their shakes now, but they are horrible! Decided to take the grandkids out for a treat and everyone got a shake. First off the cups almost felt like they were empty which i thought was odd. Secondly the shakes weren’t really even cold and had an odd consistency. To me they had the feel, texture and taste as though they were mostly blended with whipped topping instead of icecream! I don’t know what they did for sure but I do know we will bypass Sonic in the future and take my business straight to Braums for a real milkshake!

Waited in the drive thru for, at least, 5 minutes with no response. Had the same experience in one of the stalls. Left without acknowledgement from any staff member. Person behind me in drive thru line was still waiting after I gave up entirely.

For coming in late and ordering quite a bit of food, I am thoroughly impressed with not only the time it took to get the food out but the quality and temperature of the food. I will be back.
