Would recommend ordering on the app if possible. I don’t know if it’s a specific person or the equipment but they can never hear our order and we have to repeat it several times. The one time I did try to order on the app though, I had trouble with it and ended up using the board as usual. The carhops are always friendly. Remember tipping is allowed and assume it’s very appreciated. Location is on the older side. The atmosphere is definitely not a reason to go here. Overall, this is a fast food drive-in restaurant. Never had bad food here but don’t go there expecting a five star meal and you won’t be let down. We stop here on a semi-regular basis for a snack and a Sonic blast. For that purpose, it’s great.

Update 8/2/23: I tried to give Sonic in SALEM, MISSOURI another chance and tried their lunch special burger with onion rings and their half priced milkshakes. I ordered the combo double cheeseburger and onions with a Dr. Pepper, the second patty was burnt to a crisp AGAIN having been on the grill and drying out to the point of inedible so I had to remove the burnt burger patty JUST to be able to eat the rest of the burger but I couldn’t as the burnt patty had left charcoal ash on the condiments in the bun and I finally had to give up and throw it away AGAIN! This is now the THIRD time I have been served a burnt, old burger that should have been THROWN away HOURS before! Yet, they continue to cheat customers out of their money!! This company has made NO attempt to correct this problem nor reimburse me the three double cheeseburgers I’ve been unable to eat and simply continue to ALLOW THEIR managers and employees to continue with this level of service obviously to make them the most PROFIT!

They have the best shakes on this earth. Not an exaggeration. The Oreo cheesecake is my number one favorite. But they are all great. Servers are very polite. Very happy experience.

I ordered the quarter-pound double cheeseburger from Sonic and asked that it be dressed with only lettuce tomato pickles and mayonnaise because I found it to be the most perfect burger around however today’s version not so much… I got what looks to be maybe 5 shredded tiny pieces of lettuce on a burger. Great CarHop Quick Service everything else is great but come on when you ask her lettuce you obviously want lettuce on your burger not a hint of lettuce.

The service and food here is always great. The staff are always friendly and seem enthusiastic to help. Unfortunately it seems like every time I go there half of the order screens are frozen, on a blue screen of death, or just completely off. It seems like a different set every time so whenever I go to order I know to expect a game of musical chairs. Now that may not be the fault of anyone locally and may in fact be corporate not giving them the resources to get them fixed properly, but the problem still stands and it’s always a little bit frustrating.
