We specifically asked for a drink carrier, didn’t get one.
There’s almost no flavor in our slush. This is a joke.
This used to be the better Sonic, in the area and I would drive the extra 10 minutes to come here but now, this is the fourth time in a row that they’ve been just the absolute worst.
NOT coming back to this location, till I hear EVERYONE HAS BEEN REPLACED.
This has gotten so bad over the last 8 months. The owner needs to pay more so they can get good workers. The ones they have now are horrible.

Sat there for 20 minutes after clicking the button before someone took my order and at the time there was only 3 cars including myself. Took another 10 minutes or so before it said the server was on the way, but the server was definitely not on the way as. Gotta be padding their numbers inside or something saying they’re coming when they’re not. Then once I got my food my hot dog looked like crap and had precisely one dollop of relish and then tons of mustard and ketchup… On one side.
Don’t waste your time with this location and go somewhere else. Wouldn’t hate a refund.

If I could give this place negative stars I absolutely would! Employees and managers were beyond rude to me after taking 30 mins just to place an order. My drink is never right here and tonight I as no exception. When I nicely asked to have my drink made correctly the “manager” (what a joke!) snatched my cup from my hand then DUMPED MY DRINK OUT onto the ground! I’ve been a General Manager for a long time and none of my employees have EVER treated any customer like that. Will NEVER go back and I will be speaking to the GM AND DM.

We went to sonic and ordered 4 extra long chili cheese coney. We got home and they had maybe 2 small spoonfuls of chili and a few crumbs of cheese on all of them. Living in another town I didn’t feel like getting back out. So I went to the store and asked to have a manager come out. A lady came out and I showed her the pics and she said let me get my general manager. We’ll the gm got on the speaker and asked how she could help me. I asked her to come out soni could show her what we got last not. She wouldn’t come out and said they don’t do refunds. I told her I didn’t want a refund or they food remade. That I just wanted to show her the pics I took to make her aware of what happened. She still wouldn’t come look at the pics. So then I proceeded to tell her a gm that won’t gi out and talk to a costumer is a bigger problem in that state than the crap food I was given.

The Grain Valley location needs some improvement. I was really excited to try the new Pickle Smash Burger, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. My sandwich was missing several of the toppings it was supposed to come with—and instead, I somehow ended up with a random bell pepper. It felt thrown together and careless. Super bummed.

Twice lately I have ordered onion rings on the app and they either sent me nothing in my bags , Or came out to the car and told me they had zero onion rings can we substitute with fries. The first time i said the onion rings cost more. They said we will give you fries and refund onion rings. They did not refund. The second time we went back saying we didn’t get our onion rings. They stated they have none Giving me tots which are 1.50 cheaper. There has been other instances of poor food as well. I have taken pictures of various things. We love Sonic. Just not this one. To many problems, To many times . And I’m pretty sure the honey BBQ chicken isn’t supposed to be fried with a little sauce squirted on. Five different people tasted snd said gross. It’s just always something.

Carhop Brought my food out, missing one of my drinks, brought out the wrong size drink and milkshake, then was missing marinara sauce for 8 piece mozzarella sticks. Then got told we charge after the first sauce. I’ve never encountered this at other locations. Not sure how they expect an 8 piece sticks to last with only 1 sauce.
Overall just disappointed in this locations.

Made an order for 4 smashers and received them in shambles each patty was in 5 pieces. I’m not the one to complain but explained to them what had happened the cook personally apologized and stated she would remake them all. I get it gets busy I understand but when each burger is $10 you expect better. The problem was acknowledged and solved.

After reading other recent reviews, it’s seems this is the norm at this location. What an absolute joke. I don’t eat fast food very often so this is what I get lol. My tots were good and crispy like I asked and the carhop was very sweet. Who ever answered the phone was Also nice and willing to correct my order. But the cooks at this location…….need some training or something. My chili cheese dog looked like they put it in the little sleeve and then played kickball with it before putting it in my bag.
