New GM seems intent to turn this place around. We were just passing through and saw a Sonic so my wife made me stop. 🙂 Previous reviews were concerning but the service was fast and friendly and the food was good. No issues at all. The new GM even came an introduced himself. Keep it up!

There is absolutely no way this place can turn a monthly profit. I’m waiting for it to close and turn into something else.
I’ve only tried multiple times, because my mom loves it. However they refuse service more than they provide it.
The multiple times I’ve tried:
1. Ordered online and told when I arrived the order was cancelled because they’re too busy.
2. I’ve waited at the speaker for 10+ minutes only to be told it was cash only and when I said I had cash they told me they have no drinks and then when I said I didn’t need a drink they said they were closing… at 3:30pm on a random week day.
3. They said their system was down and couldn’t take orders.
4. Went to a stall and was told there were three people waiting for food and it would be a moment before they could take more orders.
5. Said they were only doing DoorDash orders.
Obviously this place cannot maintain employees or multitask different orders. Good luck if you ever get an order from here!

I ordered a #10 without lettuce add onion with tots and With a medium banana shake . I also ordered jalapeno poppers the largest size. I waited over 30 mins for my order. Lady with red hair said they got my order ring up wrong into the drive thru and served me cold food. She should have remade it. Cause the chicken sandwich was so cold I had to throw away. I also had to throw everything away but the shake cause it was all gross and cold. Chicken Sandwich should of been 165 degrees internal and it wasn’t. The breading was so hard I couldn’t eat it. I couldn’t go back cause I don’t live in Shepherdsville, cause I live 30 to 45 miles from here in Louisville Kentucky… I paid almost $20 for this food and couldn’t enjoy it on my ride home.. This is the worst food ever from Sonic have ate…. Plus the lady never gave me a receipt.

If you order DoorDash from here and it is late, it’s because they leave the driver sitting at the speaker for 10+ minutes without saying a word to them. No communication at all. And it is always like that, doesn’t matter the time or day of the week. Flabbergasted they remain operational. The two cars ahead of me in line ended up driving away without ordering because they simply weren’t spoken to and I had to back out of my dash order. There were people inside and they were open. I was speechless.

Everytime I come to pick up a order from here its minimum 30 minute wait with no one else there. 5 staff inside and still no eta for a single frozen dessert item. Don’t waste your time coming here.

I just went here for breakfast sat at the drive thru for 15 min no one answered..then drove to on of the parking spots hit the button and waited and waited no one ever came. So I tried the drive thru one more time waited 5 minutes no one ever said anything. I even sat there and called then to see if they would answer the phone and nope no one answered. But as I said let’s just go and started pulling away onky then did a older blonde lady walk out and said we are closed we are having water issues with food in her mouth. Mind you this was at 10:45 on Mo day December 22nd. If your closed and having issues that’s fine just get on the speaker and say that dont leave us sitting there. I used to love sonic but this put a very bad look on them.

This has been the best Sonic I’ve ever been to, they’re so nice. Even if they mess something up with my order when I went back to get it they upgraded it for free. They’re so polite and always very kind when we come through!

I haven’t been to sonic in a long time. This was my first time at this sonic. The staff was great the food was not what I remember it being. The food was hot and fresh but it wasn’t what I remember. The drinks are big which I guess is what they want to be known for. The medium fry i got was the smallest fry I think ive ever received. I don’t know how they could have made it smaller for a small but companies are being cheap. After spending $12 for a meal I honestly would rather have stopped at thortons or another gas station and got their hotdogs or hamburgers there along with a larger drink. It would have been cheaper and at worst the same quality.
