Sonic sits right off the main strip, right next to the Walmart plaza, and it stays busy for a reason. The drive-in setup makes it simple to grab something on the go, and the menu has enough variety to keep everyone in the car happy. They run deals often through their app, including discounted drinks, half-price shakes after 8pm, and rotating food specials, so it is easy to save a little without trying. My favorite is their 24/7 breakfast options. Feels like a life hack. The service moves quickly, the stalls turn over fast. Sonic has been able to keep that classic feel without looking dated minus the roller skates.

Paid for two of the three ounce queso. What I got was really only three ounces total. Each little cup was barely more than the one ounce amount they give you. As you can see I was able to fit it all into one. This was after driving from one sonic to this one only to have this happen. They also tried to give us a bag that was just fries not even our order at all. The service at both of the Sonic’s was terrible!

This is THE WORST chili cheese dog I’ve EVER gotten. Clearly it was old and all they did was swap the wrap it was in for a new one, the bread is STALE, I asked for extra onions (the onions pictured are the ones I asked for on the side bc I know when I ask for extra they won’t ever do it), there was no cheese on it, my tater tots were so bad my DOG wouldn’t even eat them, full of grease and not fully cooked/soggy. My cheese sticks WEREN’T EVEN COOKED! I LOVE sonic, but the algood sonic is absolutely DISGUSTING & NOONE, not even the MANAGERS, knows what they are doing! I’ve also worked at sonic in the past and I know the one that I worked at (on Jefferson) would NEVER send something so foul out the door. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Total waste of money. I wish someone else would take over to ensure that the brand “Sonic” didn’t get such bad remarks bc Sonic is a WONDERFUL place to eat, WHEN YOU HAVE PEOPLE THAT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING working there. I’m just absolutely disgusted and extremely upset that I paid $20 for THIS. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Atleast not until someone who knows what they’re doing starts running it.

So it’s 4pm the rush hour I assume because it still took 30 minutes to get 2 drinks. As I’m getting to the bottom of this ocean water with cherry flavor and extra real cherries I knew there was gonna be a problem. This has never happened before now but when i started sipping cherry stems none stop through the straw, i definitely didnt expect to see rotten cherries as the bottom.. I took that picture at 7:30pm. Cherries shouldn’t look like that or taste like that.
**** But At this location the carhop(Kaylee) was on Rollerblades so that was pretty cool.

This is the third time I’ve gone in the evening to get some thing and the order is wrong. Tonight I went and got French toast sticks and ended up getting marinara sauce in place of syrup. I’ll just stick with McDonald’s most of the time they get the order right and I don’t have to tip.

What’s going on here!? This is not the same Sonic we all know & love. We used to come here every single week!
Came here and ordered around 3:30pm, understanding that we may have had to wait a bit. But to wait 20 + mins from the time I pressed the button to the time I got a response. Not to mention, my order was wrong, I didn’t get any of the sauces I asked for other than the 1 honey mustard for 2 meals plus extra sides, ( the guy specifically asked me about the sauces and wrote it on the receipt, I even asked the car hopper ‘Jennifer’ about if the sauces were really in there (had issues in the past).
No drink carrier (4 drinks including sonic blasts) Our drinks & blasts were falling over in the car, & this was supposed to be a birthday food/ice cream celebration and it did not go as planned…
If I decide to give the Algood sonic another shot, I truly hope they get it together, but as of now I will be going to the one in Livingston.

Saturday evening I went to this location and would give zero stars if I could. The worst fast food experience I’ve had in my LIFE. We ordered our food and proceeded to wait 20 minutes. Everyone around us had left and we were the only car still waiting. We hit the button again to verify they had received our order and sounded like it was looked over. They finally bring the food out and said they had to run our card inside. No problem- we start eating our food as we wait. The employee comes back and says their card reader is down and that they’re only taking cash. We did not have cash nor were we told that prior to ordering. As we are actively eating the food she says if we don’t have cash she needs the food back. I then asked for the manager, because asking for the food back half eaten was beyond ridiculous. The male manager came out and said he needed the food back and blamed the owner, saying it was the owners orders to get the food back, knowing they’d have to just throw it in the trash. CRAZY BEHAVIOR.
