On 8/8/2025 my wife wanted to go to Sonic. She got a cheeseburger and it was good. I decided I would try the “Chicken Bites”, since Sonic did not have the Chicken Strip Dinner with the gravy that was really good and we used to always get. Got the meal to go and when we got home and opened the bag the Chicken was way overdone, was almost like mini-charcoal briquettes. If I was the cook I would have never given them to anyone, should have gone in the trash and that’s where they went in my garbage can!. Last time Sonic messed up an order they would not make it right, just offered a free small drink, big deal, I just won’t be back. 8/20/2025 Update- went to the Sonic site like they asked and they offered me a coupon for a free hamburger, but only IF I sign up for a SONIC Account, don’t want another password to keep up with, gave my email, why can’t they send coupon to my email?

Charged me for ice cream only to tell me after that they don’t have it and if I want my money back to call this number…. Why did you even take my order? The carhop was basically as confused as I was when I asked. I called them as soon as I got home to talk to a “manager” and he just reiterated that the ice cream machine is broke…. Okay cool, then why did you charge me?! I asked when I could talk to the actually manager and he goes, “they will be in tomorrow.”. So dude lied about being the manager too.
So to be clear, I was charged for food and then brought out a note that said they didn’t have my food.

The voice over the speaker sounded genuinely happy!Great service. Love to see happy employees. Food came quick and they were very busy. Though I see at least 6 stalls with caution tape (out of service) not worth a star deduction.

First visit was good. Asked if they could make a Supersonic Jalapeno Cheeseburger like they used to have on the menu. Was presented with a perfect SSJC. Next day asked in the same way for the SSJC. Was told they didn’t have it on the menu. Asked if they could make a Supersonic Double Cheeseburger with mustard and jalapenos and tomatoes and was argued with that the original came with mayo not mustard. What I got was a Supersonic Double Cheeseburger with jalapenos which is not the same. Gave the previous days receipt to the car hop and ask politely if the request the orderer not to argue with the customer.

It’s truly sad this place does not care about getting your order right. I am definitely one to understand that mistakes can happen but the last 5 times my family (2 adult meals, 2 kids meals) have got food from this place they do not bother to take away what you ask to nor do they care to add what you ask and paid extra for! One time.. okay. Twice.. alright. Every single time is absolutely ridiculous. I’ve lived by this location for 4 years and have came to this location at least twice a month since. Never had any issues like this up until the last 2 months. Take the time to go to Hermitage or Madison locations.. you got a better chance taking the extra 10 minutes instead of dealing with this crap that they do not bother to improve.
