Not really a review, but an update on this location based on its appearance when I drove by, 11/22/25. While the Google Maps posting says, “temporarily closed,“ I’m pretty sure this location it’s permanently closed. The main sign is gone. The menu signs are all gone and the place looks ready for the wrecking ball. Nothing is going on at this location. About a month ago, I called the corporate office and they couldn’t tell me what’s going on with this location, or the one in Woodlstock. I see lots of bad reviews, usually a result of bad management, a death-knell to any business. Pretty sad.
In addition, many of these one-star reviews have a response below the review, apologizing, and then asking if the reviewer wants to escalate it to the franchise owner and if so, contact them at some 800 phone number, or through some link. Why wouldn’t you escalate this to the franchise owner automatically, so they know their employees are failing them? You don’t ask that question. You react to the review by contacting the franchise owner immediately.

I received molded fries with my combo and requested a full refund on my entire order. Because I couldn’t find the receipt, the only solution I was offered was to have the fries remade. SICKENING. After I found the receipt, I was only offered to have the fries refunded. I requested a full refund again and was told that I could only get the most expensive combo refunded because the food was half eaten (which was a lie). We showed her all of the our food, which CLEARLY had not been half eaten. All of this was told to me by a “manager”. It shouldn’t matter how much was eaten, it’s the fact that there was MOLD on my food and I wasn’t even given an apology.

Great place in keeping with the high standards that Sonic has set for itself. The Corn Dog has to be the best value proposition selling for $1.49. Yum! Cheeseburger pretty good. Friendly quick service.

Ordered large pickle fries and they were less than half full. Also they messed up my burger by the time we got it everything else was cold. The replacement burger also had a hair.

I waited in the drive thru for over 25 minutes. I could not pull out of line because there was construction being done on the roof of tje driven in booths. We finally got to the window no apology for the wait and the food was cold. To make matters worse they had a cup outside the window requesting tips. Will never go here again.

Drive thru didn’t take too long at all. Ordered a strawberry banana milkshake (my go to). Was really good and a plus that the girl at the drive thru window was very nice and made sure to ask if I needed anything else!
Forgot to mention, their food score was an 83. Definitely won’t be going back, I try to avoid eating at places 90 or below. Other than that it was good!

Food was gross and undesirable. Burger actually tasted like bleach. None of the food was eaten. Most our party walked to publix and got food from the deli. Slushies were fine, hi C and flavored Sprite tasted watered down.

I’ve tried be patient with this particular location on Baker RD, but today finally motivated me to publicly express my frustration. I solely went to this location for the purpose of slushes for the family, only to be told upon arrival that the slush machine was “down.” It would be nice to be compensated for wasted time traveling to this establishment. There have been other times where I’ve been advised to swipe my card at certain stalls, only to be told by the employees that the card reader is actually down and they need to run inside to run my card after my food has been brought out. It seems you’ll often find here at this particular location stalls that are out of order altogether, as I’ve parked a couple of times only to see an out of order sign. I think it’s sad that I’m forced to consider traveling to another Sonic 20 minutes away as opposed to 6 minutes just to receive the normalcy I’m accustomed to from most Sonic restaurants.

By far the worst experience I’ve had at a fast good establishment in my life. I ordered on the app and parked in the stall waiting for 30 minutes, then finally on the stalls screen it said someone was coming out with my order I waited for ten minutes and no one came. I then hopped into the drive through lane and the lady said the order was there (it was literally sitting on there counter and they did nothing), I then pull up only to find out my order was incorrect when I got home. At that point I didn’t care to get a refund or complain, in top of that my food was cold (obviously because it was sitting there). The workers r horrible and I would never go to this place again.

Credit card machine is always down with drive through. Milkshakes are the only decent edible here. Takes way too long to get food once ordered.
Update August 2023:
Tried the order ahead with their app. Said to pull into a stall and enter stall number. Watched the progress on the stall screen, took 5 minutes to say on its way out. 10 minutes go by without my order, so I press the button. The lady on the other end started off by saying drive thru only. I explained that I placed an order already through the app and it stated to pull into a stall to receive the order, she asked for my name and ghosted me. 10 additional minutes I press the button to find out I was indeed ignored. The next person to answer said they just got there and haven’t been notified of my order, I explained that it has been almost 30 minutes since the order was placed for two items. They then say they didn’t have one of the items ordered and if I wanted to substitute.
This will be the last time visiting this location.
