I was about to go through the drive through when I thought it might be pleasant to just park and order. I pressed the button and after 5 minutes of waiting and repressing, they finally took my order. 15 minutes goes by and I’m kinda wondering what’s going on. I could’ve gone through the drive through and be done in 5. Another 15 minutes passes and I’m hangry and heated. I go up to the counter and ask them what happened to my food. They said they must have messed up and the receipt got lost. They then gave me my money back and said they would bring it out in no more than five minutes. 10 minutes goes by and nothing. I walk back up to the counter, scream at them some more, and they said they would give me a voucher to get a free meal the next time I come, but I couldn’t wait any longer because my blood sugar was dropping and I needed food then and there, so I stormed out and drove to the closest McDonald’s. Worst fast food experience ever. I never got my food and they handled it terribly.

The service here just was not the best it could be. Despite the small number of customers, our food took a long time to get out to our car. Once we got it, we discovered that our order was incorrect and I had to get it fixed. While doing so, I noticed other customers also had either mistakes with their order or the whole order was wrong all together. The food was good, but the service needs improvement in efficiency.

I am posting this review within a week of visiting this location. Noticing that it is now permanently closed so I guess this review isn’t really relevant but I will still write it anyways.
I was visiting the area for work and I normally love Sonic and don’t have any in my area so when I am near one, I usually don’t hesitate to visit.
First thing I noticed was a very long line for the drive through so I decided to go to the pull up order spots. Once I decided on what to order, I pushed the button. 4 times I was ignored. Finally I get a response which said very fast “go to drive thru please”. No explanation as to why…
So I get into the long line to order my food. About 20 minutes later (after already spending at least 10 at the park and order spot) I get my chance to order at the drive through. After I explain my order, the person said “sorry we only have drinks right now”
Well I didn’t want just a drink. Why would you let me ramble off my order and THEN tell me you only have drinks? If you are a fast FOOD restaurant and you were seriously out of EVERYTHING on your menu or whatever other reason….at least post it on a sign or something.
And of course now that I did not want to order just a drink, I was stuck in the drive through line.
Since this location is now permanently closed….it makes sense why they may have only had drinks….but still very aggravating that I spent so much time waiting only to be disappointed.
And after visiting this location and reading all the bad reviews after, makes sense why this location may have been shut down.
So obviously this review wont help or hurt this specific location but hopefully the franchise will see this to correct their mistakes.
Because of this bad service, I may pass on thr next Sonic I come across.

Never again will I eat here. I thought it would be good like last time (3 years ago) boy was I wrong. The burger, wings, and fries were all cold. Don’t even bother trying to return the food, they don’t care. We were so happy to remember sonic was just a few exits down, that we went there instead of our normal lunch spot. I wont make that mistake ever again. If you can not deliver good quality hot food, then why are you even open..

The quality of food has seemed to go down at this Sonic, and the hot dogs are just gross. I don’t even go there anymore. Between the time it takes to even get food (and not because of long lings), and the overall quality of it, it just ins’t worth it to me. I can get heartburn from other things that will taste better and I don’t have to spend 20 minutes in a drive thru to get.

First of all these kids need to pay attention. The food is good but service isn’t grear . The people are nice but lack attention to any detail. They forgot multiple items when brought to our car even after reading back the order. Ordered bacon pretzel dogs with no onions but got 3 chili cheese dog, this would have been fine but I paid for the more expensive one. Went to ask them to change they said alright 3 bacon pretzel dogs no onions. I get 3 pretzel bacon dogs filled with onions. Multiple people texting in the kitchen. They just need to pay more attention

Not a very good experience today at Sonic. It’s raining, pulled into a spot close to the building so they didn’t have to walk in rain. Checked out the menu, pushed the button and we were told to go through the drive thru. Went through drive thru. Didn’t have chicken strips. Really?! Ok. So we got our food. Drive back around and parked to eat. Another car pulled up 2 spots away from us and they asked for their order, didn’t tell them to go through drive thru. I’m not ok with that! So she tried to order a shake. Sorry machine is broke. Slushee. Nope sorry can’t make any of those drinks. Not very customer friendly and store not well equipped. Food was ok but the store needs some work!

The only downside to this place is that the drive thru speaker is always low volume.
The service is always friendly and quick. The food is fresh cooked, unlike places like mcdonalds that go straight from freezer to fryer.
Try the steak sub, you won’t regret it.

It was a Friday 10ish pm, took over 10 minutes to make my order of wings. While I was waiting I could hear the crew inside thru the drive thru window and the language was horrible. The was also a group of teenagers at the pinic tables in front of the store, their language was also ridiculous. Not one time while I was there did a store employee ask them to quiet down. Sonic was most definitely not family friendly tonight. I drive the 10 minutes home after receiving my order and my tator tots were completely burned to a crisp. My cheeseburger was also completely burnt and all the topping were mushy. Needless to say I did not get dinner but my dog enjoyed it. My son is eating the wings now so they must be ok. The crappy part is I love Sonic. I used to go to this same location 3 times a week before or after therapy, however the last 4 times I have been the food has either been awful or my order is messed up. Please get it back together Sonic.

This review is for both Sonic’s in Winchester. I have been to both locations at least a dozen times and they both do not make your burger to order. I just left one and ordered 2 different cheeseburgers one with mayo one with mustard no onions. Get the order both have mustard and mayo on them and onions. This isn’t the first time either. If you want it that way you order that way. I’ve been all over the country at Sonic’s never have I had a order screwed up like that. It’s a constant at Sonic in Winchester.
