This was my first experience eating Sonic. According to social media, Sept 18th is national burger day so we thought to give a Sonic a try to celebrate the occasion. For national burger day, Sonic was running a $2 burger promotion so we took the incentive to give the food a try.
I used the app to order, consisting of the promotional $2 burger, mozzarella sticks, and the south west queso chicken wrap. The app also offered a free small fries, on which I capitalized.
The app worked flawlessly and was very user friendly.
Do note that I ordered take out but I live in close proximity so the time between pick up and eating wasn’t far apart.
Honestly, I was not impressed by the food. The burger was rather dry with a slightly, off-putting flavor, the condiments and pickles were helpful in making it palatable. The mozzarella sticks were mediocre in my opinion but my wife said she enjoyed them. We weren’t given a marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks so I can’t tell you how it was. The chicken wrap was just okay also, the wrap is dry because the corn chips don’t improve the already semi dry chicken tender and there’s not enough queso to improve the level of moisture. The fries were as dry as chips so they were underwhelming. I assume if you get the loaded fries then that should make them better.
I’m in no rush to return.

Two of the three last times we went for pick up here the order was WAY wrong. Half the main course meals weren’t in the bag on like a 72.00 dollar order. Then to top it all off the hop that brought the food was either mad about something or just in general a person incapable of being nice just kinda chucked the bag in .y arms turned amd walked off…….not going back here again guess we’ll be driving down to Manassas, we always get good food and great service there.

Got the Coney chili hotdog combo. On the menu it was under $5. My bill $8.75. Asked for unsweetened tea, got overly sweet tea. 7/11 hotdogs are much better. With better choices for toppings. I will not be back

I had an outstanding experience at this Sonic Drive-In! From the moment I pulled in, the service was incredibly fast and efficient — my order was taken right away, and the food came out quicker than I expected. The carhop was super friendly, professional, and made sure everything was correct.

The food was fresh, hot, and tasted excellent — you can tell they take pride in quality here. The restaurant itself was very clean, from the parking lot to the stalls, which made the visit even better.

Overall, this Sonic goes above and beyond with its speed, service, food quality, and cleanliness. Easily one of the best drive-in experiences I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family!

We been coming here since opening but today we got something else than expected . Order was correct as usual but soggy from grease to the max every item but the corn dog. To the point that a complete order and a half was not eaten by anyone. All of our friend soaked in oil , see the brown bag picture speaks for itself. If your bag ever looks like this, return ur order without even looking in the bag. 100% soaked in oil . Don’t forget the fried got a cup also to trap the excess oil except if you have too much of that like we did.
If you look it pix #2, clearly visible how is the bun soaked up all the grease from the meat, its just totally disgusting. After this meal we prolly won’t be back for a long while. Once you lose taste for something due to quality issues, takes relatively long time to recover from its memory. If I would eat that nasty meal as is, I prolly would end up feeling bad enough to never return again. Well people’s, today’s meal was Suck and left us hungry. Good luck for a better experience!

I’ve been excited about this place opening in Leesburg for quite some time. It’s been forever since I’ve been to a sonic, so I was really looking forward to this place coming in. Assuming things continue to progress there’s plenty to be excited about, but be aware that they are still working out some growing pains right now. To be fair, I’m not sure exactly where they would open when they aren’t fully ready but maybe it’s to dip their toes in the water.

The food is really good for fast food. The burger here is much better than you would find at a typical fast food joint like McDonald’s or Wendy’s. The tater tots were just sort of meh, and so were the jalapeño poppers. But again, the burger was really good.

The car hop who brought my food out was very friendly, and I’m sure she brought the food out as soon as it was ready but it did take what I would consider to be an excessive amount of time. Maybe 10 minutes or so from the time I ordered.

The person taking the order through the microphone was also very friendly, and let me know that I could insert my credit card into the window for payment. Of course that didn’t work so it required more time for me to sort out how to pay for the food once I got to my car.

At this point, only about half of the drive up locations are working, and the traffic pattern is kind of weird so just be aware of that until they get all of those kinks worked out it’s kind of a challenge.

I’ll definitely go back, and will update the review once they get there see legs about them and start operating normally.

First time coming to this location I must say it wasn’t as bad as some of the reviews I have read. My daughter and I just got something simple. We got just a regular double cheeseburger and I got fries with chill and cheese both were pretty good not great but not terrible. My daughter got just fries with cheese and an Ocean Wave she enjoyed the drink more than the fries, I got like a limeade with red bull. I will say I’ll probably come back and try something different maybe even a milkshake on the trip. We ordered ahead food was ready when we got there it was hot and the lady who brought our food was nice and friendly.

Food and service was average for a fast food place. Only important thing I’ll mention is that the person with the headset on who took my order forgot to turn it off, and so I ended up hearing some odd things from the employees talking. One of them said something about taking customer cups and putting them in sanitizer water if it gets dropped on the floor and just reusing them. Personally, I wouldn’t want a cup thats been on the floor, no matter what kind of sanitizer it’s been dunked it.
