There was no one in line & it took over 10 minutes waiting at the drive thru lane.

The “slushie” was mostly ice as the juice disappeared rather quickly. Even other slushies like from 7/11 or Taco Bell aren’t that bad with the ice/drink ratio.

Ice cream hand shake was essentially flavorless besides the cookie pieces. The base itself was not adding to the drink

Pretzel is kind of hard to mess up & cheese is just prepackaged nacho-esque. Can’t really mess it up

I placed an online order at 7:02 pm. I followed the app instructions and parked at a stall and typed in stall # which was stall # 2.. also pressed button on stall and no response. I waited for 20 minutes and no one came out. I then went through drive through and waited at intercom for 10 minutes before I said “hello” finally someone responded and I drove up. When waiting for food at window no one came. I could see and hear people inside laughing and joking. They also were swearing about the person that was in the drive through ahead of me which he was also upset because of the wait. When we received food it was ice cold and they didnt know what my drinks were. I was totally disappointed and unsatisfied with not only customer service but the food. I spend over $20, I expected better service.

Should have read the reviews first! I placed an online order at 5:45pm ! Set p/u time for 6:05. I sat in the bay and realized it was 6:23!! There was NO ONE in the lot. Had to go through drive through and wait behind another vehicle for what 5-6 mins just for them to after I asked for them to re make my food continued to give me the food I ordered 40mins before. Short staff isn’t an excuse for poor service! Sloppy sandwich on top of that! Even my 10 year old said they wouldn’t come back here!!

I placed a mobile order of 3 items and waited almost an hour to get them. I pulled up to the mobile order pickup, typed in the stall number and sat there for 30 minutes. No one came. I finally decided to get in the long drive thru line and that took another 15 minutes. I finally got to the window and got my food, all of which was cold. The blast I ordered was completely melted and the top was not placed on properly so it exploded all over my car. I am very disappointed with the service and will not be returning anytime soon.

The place was closed up, so you couldn’t go in to wash your hands or use the bathroom. We came here and hit the button on the car hop window and 30 minutes go by, and after hitting it a couple more times, no one answered. Cars in the other slots tried as well and just left or went to the drive thru window and got help faster. So I decided to go to the drive-thru window and explain that they should check their buttons on the car hop. They admitted to being aware of it but didn’t want to send anyone outside. Maybe put on them a sign and lie say out of service? Or put cones up? So then I proceed to ask if I can put 2 separate orders in and he said no because it’s starting to get busy, so I said fine can we do one big order I give some cash and rest on card. He said no if it was slower, yes, but because he didn’t want to and “was too busy,” he couldn’t. There were 3 cars in front of me already gone from our conversation, and he decided to be lazy. They should have kept this place closed. After driving off, I noticed a guy parked in the mobile order slot complained he was there for an hour parked. I guess they just pick and choose food they want to make and too lazy to walk outside, even to put signs or cones out.

Let me add my review to the dozen of recent 1 star review at this location. First time customer and now won’t be back. Placed an order and said it was going to be ready in 6 mins. Waited 20 mins and decided to go in the drive thru and it only moved by 1 car in 10mins. I left my order behind and called customer service.
This management needs to be fired because they respond back to our reviews for months but never change their stores issues.

They need to beg or something for the other owner to come back. When the little girl with reddish hair was running this place was the only way it was staying afloat. I’ve been coming here since before the reopening and she was the only time this place was ever running good. They’ve had plenty different owners and no one can run this place right. If you don’t want this place shut down bring her back! This new owner is running this place to the ground!

This is the worst sonic in CT. We would go there every now and then, because we don’t live too far away. It seems like every time we go there is some kind of issue. There were 3 cars in line last night, April 3, 2022, and we were in line for over 20 min. When we were at the window, the staff was all walking around aimlesssly, like they had no idea what the hell they were doing… I ordered a “diet cherry limeade”, they gave me a regular strawberry lemonade that was so sugary, and disgusting, I dumped it out… My wife ordered a strawberry lemonade slush, and they gave her a regular strawberry lemonade too. I noticed it right away, and my wife said just go, she didn’t want to wait another 20 min. We got home, and my burger, as you can see in the picture, was squashed like a bug…disgusting. We are never going to this Sonic again. Wallingford and Manchester are wayyyy better. They should have not re-opened this location, they should have kept it closed.

Not even going to sugar coat it,this place is horrendous. I came here with a family of five which could be understandably stressful for employees, but there was ONE other car. We waited at a drive up for twenty minutes before going to the drive through after no response and clicking the button multiple times. Once at the drive through,we mentioned the broken drive ups and they said, “Oh sorry” and clearly they knew already after these reviews. When picking up our food from the window this girl gives us multiple wrong items and barbeque sauce we didn’t ask for, then rolls her eyes when we ask for buffalo sauce and says she already gave us a ton of stuff. Like, I’m sorry for having basic human preferences I guess?
Seriously I’ve seen hyenas with better manners than these workers. After all this,they didn’t even give us our 2 chicken wraps. They definitely heard us to, the worker asked us to say it twice when ordering. Seriously don’t go here, these people lack basic human respect and I feel bad for whoever owns the building. Our fries also tasted like cardboard and the chicken tenders had clearly been sitting for hours.

Horrible service. I placed a mobile order on the app, checked in, waited 20 minutes and no one came with my order. The drive through line was at a 20 plus minute stand still. Ownership needs to step up here and improve the service as it appears to be a common issue.
