Atmosphere is very spacious, warm and inviting, almost as if you’re visiting an upscale home. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and both greeted us and thanked us as we left. We were pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness and variety of the menu. They have many different types of curries and entrees that can’t be found elsewhere. I ordered the shrimp mango curry and it was fantastic. I also tried their green curry and it was very excellent as well (and spicy). I also recommend their summer rolls and spring rolls; the peanut sauce and plum sauce that comes with them is great. Overall, this is the best Thai food restaurant I’ve ever been to. I recommend trying their curry if you come here.
P.S. They’re very friendly to both vegetarians and vegans.

Went in for the first time tonight after work. Atmosphere was good, service was friendly and quick. Good menu with a variety of options. I ordered the massaman curry with tofu and it was served to me without potatoes. Just watery curry with a little bit of tofu and onions. It was tasty but I am disappointed that I did not get to try the dish the way it was advertised on the menu. I left still hungry.

one of the best meals of my entire life, and that’s saying a lot because I am a 44 year old life long foodie . anybody who gives this place a bad review has no soul. It was spotlessly clean , the service was amazing , chef is a genius and came to the table .. try the wonton soup, pad Thai, Thai iced tea, we ordered 5 dishes each one better than the last .. and I think her prices are way too low, maybe original prices from the 90s.. absolutely loved it , highly highly recommend

Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Our family shared 3 different curries because those were the ones we saw on their online menu and we were ordering take out. They have a more complete menu in the restaurant that looks like it has all the standards and favourites. We visit the area fairly often and this place is going to be one of our goto places from now on. We are kicking ourselves for the years coming to Daytona and not eating here until now.

Wanted some Thai food this afternoon and saw the reviews of the restaurant thought it just might be good…big mistake. One person in the restaurant trying to seat customers, wait tables cook and serve. Waited 15 minutes for our order to be taken then another 15 minutes + for the order to come out. When it came out my order was completely wrong and almost cold. Ordered broccoli beef ($9.00) wife ordered pad thai ($8.00) both were supposed to be seasoned medium hot, both had no seasoning. While eating, another couple came in….never saw the owner/cook/waitress/cashier again till at least 10 minutes AFTER finishing dinner. No water or tea refills either. Worst of all got the bill for $26.89….we were so disgusted I didn’t even question the bill….just wanted to leave. THAT PLACE IS DEFINITELY OFF THE LIST.
I should have known better when we walked in and saw the condition of the restaurant and only one person there to do everything. If this is the best Thai restaurant in Daytona don’t waste your time and money going there.

This is my all time favorite Thai restaurant. Every time I am here I always get the coconut soup. The wait staff was very professional. The owner Su came out and was very warm, inviting, and friendly. I highly recommend you give this restaurant a try, you will not be disappointed.

The chef catered to my wife’s peanut allergy with an amazing Green curry over pork. The most authentic and delicious Thai restaurant in town. Will definitely come again.

From the first time I ate here in 2000 to this day, without a doubt the best Thai food in Daytona. This is where we take friends and family for special dinners, to wow visitors, and to have a decently priced home cooked meal. The panang and green curry are spectacular, the pad woon sen and pad se ew and chicken noodles are to die for, and the soups and appetizers are unique and delicious. I make special trips to purchase her chili jam for use in my own cooking! I’m always amazed if people don’t love this place (the few times I’ve ever heard it) and it’s always some snowflake thing about how they thought the menu was weird or they were expecting chow mein (this actually came out of my mother’s mouth). The one thing I’ve been disappointed with over the years is the service, and how it can sometimes be slow – especially at lunch. But it’s a take your time kind of place, really, and often the food is being prepared from scratch right then, so I don’t mind the wait.
Overall, one of my top 5 restaurants in the Daytona Area. So, so good.

My father, little sister, and I were in a mood for some Thai food. We were headed towards SIam Spice’s restaurant at first until we discovered that they closed Tuesdays. We then decided to look up Thai restaurants in Daytona, and found Songkran Thai Restaurant. The ratings were high, a 4.1 out of 5, so we decided to give it a try.
When we arrived, we noticed how painfully slow it was at 5:30pm. Besides us, there was one other table. I do not judge too much, but you know it’s pretty scary if a restaurant is this empty during one of its busier hour. When we walked into the building, it was quiet. Once we sat down, our server (the only server actually), came up to us right away and she was very polite. We felt so bad for the server. She was amazing, kind, and very soft spoken. In fact, we think she’s too good for the restaurant herself!
Overall, the food was way overpriced for what we came for. The summeroll was very tasteless, and mushy. Gross. The Crispy Shrimp was pretty good, but it was too overpriced for the quantity they gave us. My sister and I tried the Pad Thai. It was average, nothing to authentic or not a “WOW” factor. Our dad tried the curry, it was mainly sauce, when he ordered the shrimp curry, and it barely contained any shrimp. The only good thing about their restaurant was the Thai Tea (it gives one a nostalgia of Thailand) and (the only server).
In conclusion, the place was not the worst but not the best. However, we will not be coming back here.

Have been coming here for years and the food is always amazing. Owner is extremely caring and always makes sure the guest are happy. Came here today in hopes of them being open pulled in and there was a sign on the door of hours changing, but the owner was here and insisted that we come in and she’d cook for us. This is one local business I will forever continue to support❤
